Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

All of the pharmacists and techs have been incredible. I've been going to this pharmacy for 5 years now and have been meet with patience and kindness. When there is an issue with a medication or I have additional questions all staff are able to answer these questions and treat me with respect. They are sometimes seen to be rude because they are efficient.

The "pharmacist" at this location "Tracy" refuses to work with patients to provide necessary medication provided FREE by the government (Paxlovid) despite the qualifications being met and provided to her from patient and confirmed by a telehealth doctor. Incompetent and downright rude, each time she spoke to us she rose her voice more than listened and still did not provide a Covid 19 solution for our family. If a Doctor level professional would rather force patients to physically arrive at a food store to try and speak logic to her while they are sick with Covid, it speaks volumes to the nature of her competence, or obvious lack thereof.

My husband went to pick up a prescription of antibiotics from here. Not our usual pharmacy, but Wal Mart couldn't get it in so doctor's office had to call around. They had it here. BUT, he was in line behind one person. The clerk was so slow at getting the other's prescription, and kept talking to her about nonsense things, it took over 45 min for him to get to the desk. Only one window open, and clerk seemed like she wasn't trained well. It's one thing if there's a line in front of you, but just because the customer and clerk wanted to visit with each other is not the way to run your business. Will NOT go here again! Stay clear!

Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. I always arrive at least an hour after the stated time (worked retail, understand that sometimes sh!t happens) but they have never had a prescription ready when I arrive to pick it up. Last straw was a prescription that had to be ordered. Nobody could tell me when or why it was not coming in. Ended up having to have the prescription transferred to another pharmacy. I don't care how long it will take to have a prescription filled- just have it done when you tell me it will be done! Same with ordering....sh!t happens- just tell me what is going on, and don't string me along for almost a week with stupid excuses. Just poorly ran overall.
