Serving residents of Manhattan's Lower East Side since 1904, the Tompkins Square Library is a community hub for all ages. Reading, educational and cultural programming, computer and wifi access, ESOL classes and more. Work-from-home patrons are encouraged to spend some time in our bright, recently renovated space, get some emails done and check out a book or two. Situated across from Tompkins Square Park, surrounded by cafes and small businesses, community organizations and other service-providers.
