Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ZKZak KuehneAug 23, 20261.0Drove thru is always slow no matter what time you go there. The workers are always rude, especially the people working the overnight shift. My order is almost never right. You’ll spend 40 minutes for “fast food” just for your order to be completely wrong. Honestly this establishment has made me hate the entire franchise. There’s quite a few places on the same road which you’ll get way more bang for you buck. I hope this place closes down soon, maybe then they’ll put something more worth it in.

They were understaffed and the ticket time was extensive. That being said.. I do have to recognize a clear asset to your whataburger kilgore store, your employee/late night manager SHAWN handled my complaint with professionalism, understanding, compassion and the utmost respect. If it wasn't for him, id probably would have made the decision never to return.. 10 stars for him. Overall 3 stars.

We sat at a standstill for no apparent reason and cars kept piling up behind without anyone pulling out. I was trying to get a quick breakfast treat for my kids, but this was not worth the stop!
