Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Go somewhere else - if there is any single issue, the entire staff will stare at you with zero thoughts behind their eyes, as if unsure how to fix the issue and give us the CORRECT burger. Person taking order did not understand that I said "plain with ketchup" NOT "plain with cheese." I would have used the kiosk but not everything on the menu is on the stupid kiosk! This establishment has degraded in quality and customer service since the first time I came here!

    First time going and not sure what I expected, after hearing a lot of hype, but the burger was just OK. Very dry to me and maybe overcooked. Been there done that now. Lots enjoy, just not for me. Clean and nice folks working there.

    It was the nastiest burger I’ve ever had to throw out. It was drowned in mustard, the meat tasted funky and the fries were soggy. Never again!
