Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
My family and I absolutely love this place. Every time we pass by one well going on vacation we have to stop. The food is always consistent, fresh, hot and one of the best fast food burgers in the country. The employees are always very nice and very helpful, I don't think I've ever run across one that has been in a bad mood or made me feel like they didn't want to be there. We went to one in Texas and one I think in Missouri , but tomorrow we're going to one in Tennessee and I can't wait for a double burger with a banana pudding shake. Oh yeah the fries and the onion rings are awesome as well. I highly recommend trying one of these places if you've never had them before.

I normally do not complain about a business but man oh man, don’t eat at the Whataburger in Pigeon Forge unless you want to spend your entire vacation waiting on your food. We waited 45 minutes for our food, the building was literally 52 degrees inside it. People were having to eat on the ground outside because it was too cold to eat inside. I watched two different families get refunds plus their food, then another man walked up to ask about his food or a refund and the manager was so rude to him and wouldn’t give him a refund. Don’t get me wrong our food was good, but you have to hurry and eat it because it got cold from being inside. Just save your money and go somewhere. If I had read the google reviews before I went, we definitely would have picked a different place to eat.

Avoid unless you plan on waiting an hour for food went around 9:30 at night other people there had to get there money back though I did watch 2 families get there money back and also get there food however another man came up and they were refusing to do either.now let's talk about the temperature inside this establishment I get it being cooler inside i get the employees are working over hot grills(if there even hot considering the wait time)but to have it so cold your trying to form a ice burg to sink the titanic out of the tears of the hungry customers waiting forever on the food.on the bright side the food did taste good I would avoid this location at all cost #steak and shake was better here anyway

First I need to clarify that I grew up with Whataburger. I'm only reviewing this location to clear up any misconceptions about Whataburger as a whole.
The Sevierville location is brand new. The people working the counter are brand new. The drive through and kitchen staff are brand new. It was a bold move to drop the place in the middle of tourist country RIGHT before the season started. NOW. I will be completely honest, I actually contacted the corporate office in San Antonio TX. It was a complaint as such but more like a deep concern that people who have never been to Whataburger would draw the wrong conclusion about the company as a whole. Yes, I experienced long wait times and received cold food. But, I'm happy to report that my last visit 6/11, I was greeted with my whole order within 10 minutes. And it was a full house.
So, good job guys and suck it IN N OUT...

Do not eat at this restaurant.
Let me say that again, but with more emphasis: DO NOT eat at this restaurant.
I ate there once with my wife after it first opened. Filthy dining room. Food took 30 minutes and was cold.
"Ok," I thought, "maybe it's still new and they're working out some of the kinks." So I left the place alone and forgot about it. I always like to give a restaurant a second chance just to see if maybe they were having a bad night.
Tonight, I tried again. Whatamistake
Food this time took 40 minutes for a single burger and fries that was prepared incorrectly. Dining room absolutely atrocious with trash all over the floor and not a single clean table. When I spoke to a manager I got a "Sorry, we're short handed" excuse and little more than a shrug.
It's deeper than being short handed, it's incompetence. Staggering incompetence. Send the girl standing with a headset doing nothing but holding a tray to sweep the dining room. Double check that the order is made correctly before you send it out. Something. Jesus.
"Well what do you expect? It's fast food." I'm not expecting much, just a clean place to eat and to not wait 40 minutes on a burger. Pretty low standards, if you ask me.
I will say that the kid who took my order was very nice. Desmond, if they read this out loud in a team meeting, ask for a raise.
You have many food options available in the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area. Options that are quicker and much cleaner. You're better off going somewhere else.
