  Gotta disagree with the fans that rate this place highly. The taco meat was mostly fat, the cilantro level was way too high. The salsa was so boring, like it came from a 50 gallon barrel. They got half of our order wrong. With so many amazing Mexican restaurants in the area, I see no reason to stop here. I would offer pictures of our leftovers that we had, but they went straight into the trash

  Food is extremely good and reasonably priced. But the service here is terrible. The servers will always dissappear to the back and then come back out 30 mins later when drinks are empty and ask if we need anything. We have gone here about twice a month for the last year.

  We stopped in to place a to-go order on our way into town. Julie invited us to wait at the bar and took the best care of us! She made sure we still got chips and complimentary beverages while waiting for our food. I really can’t stress how welcoming and relaxing this was after spending four hours in the car! If Julie’s in the running for a raise, she 100% deserves it!

  The food was ok, but I was charged for another tables food. My bill was $40 and I was charged $70. I spoke to the waitress and the manager and they both assured me that only the $40 would go toward my credit card. We'll, yep you guessed right. I was charged the $70 and not the $40. Either a mistake, clueless, or a lie. I know of another person that this same thing happened just a few weeks ago at the same restaurant. I've called and the barely English speaking person said they would have the manager call me back. We'll see how long this takes to get resolved...

  I hate leaving negative reviews because the server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, the food was a completely different story. I ordered the chicken, peppers, and rice with cheese, and within hours I became extremely sick with what appeared to be food poisoning. It was severe enough that I felt obligated to warn others. While I can't say exactly what went wrong in the kitchen, I know I was very ill after eating this meal. It's disappointing because the service and environment were enjoyable, but food safety has to come first. I would strongly recommend being cautious when ordering here.
