  We stumbled upon this little gem after visiting Arrington Vineyards. It was definitely a diamond in the rough. Small place, big on character and the young folks that were cooking and serving us were too notch. Their folks raised them right! We love more than an hour away, but I can see us making it a point to come visit again, and often. Nothing fancy, but great sandwiches and the charm had us from the moment we walked through the door.

  Love love love this place! An absolute gem off the beaten path. Cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. Then there's the food! Best Philly cheesesteak and burger I think Ive ever had. Highly recommend it.

  Secret little place in the middle of nowhere that is absolutely AMAZING!! We got the sampler for appetizers which came with fried taters(with sour cream-cheese and bacon), fried pickles and fried green tomatoes! I could've ate the entire plate by myself! For lunch I had the pimento burger, my wife had the BART and our boy had a cheeseburger! The pimento burger was absolutely on point! Very juicy HAND PATTED burger! The BART was huge and the turkey was sliced fresh! The cheeseburger was the best restaurant burger my boys ever had! We highly recommend this place!

  My wife and I ate at Fried Tater cafe today for lunch and enjoyed everything related to this hidden gem. The cafe made us think back to a general store in the community who also served food, and really like the interior design and memorabilia hanging from the walls and ceiling.This was the first time visiting for us and our food orders was cooked perfectly and our server and service was excellent. We meet Todd by chance and can see why this is a great cafe as he was professional but talked with us as we had been friends for years. Highly recommend Fried Tater cafe and we being returns to try dinner 5 star

  Best catfish I have ever had. The white beans were good too but the fried taters weren’t so good, they tasted burnt. Husband got the fried blueberry pie which was amazing. We will be back.
