First and foremost, the behavior of the employees was entirely unacceptable. As staff, there is a baseline expectation of professionalism and courtesy, both of which were utterly non-existent during my visit. Furthermore, it was deeply disheartening to witness the behavior of the young children present—and more importantly, the lack of accountability from their parents. Shame on the parents who are failing to teach their children the basic human decency of respecting their elders. Worse still is the ignorance surrounding the significance of today. Parents are failing to teach their children what this holiday actually means. It is not just a day off; it is a solemn day to honor the members of our military who fought for our freedom and never made it back home. To see that sacrificed for bad manners and a complete lack of awareness is shameful. I will not be returning, and I expect management to address the attitude of their staff.
