Had not been to a Shoney's in a long time, so we decided to try it for something quick. The staff was friendly. They pretty much steer you to the buffet, but ordering from what I would call a limited menu is available. The buffet had a large variety, but everything was just kind of mediocre in quality and taste. Seemed clean. Staff nice. Wouldn't go back though.

Baby… what in the food stamp apocalypse was this?
$22.50 a person for a buffet with less meat than a vegan convention. I watched the hogs stampede the buffet the second a patty touched the pan, and by the time us common folk got there, it looked like the leftovers from last week’s trailer park potluck had been put under a heat lamp and given a second chance at life.
I didn’t even eat $3 worth of food.
For $22.50, I’d have been better off driving to the local pet shop and buying a can of puppy chow. At least I know there’d be actual meat in it.
Shoney’s charged steakhouse prices and served yard sale leftovers. My stomach, my wallet, and my dignity all filed separate complaints.
Never again.

Visited this Shoney’s on June 24, 2026, around 11:00 AM and was disappointed with the overall experience. The restaurant was not busy, yet service was slow and inattentive. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like napkins and hot sauce, and our requests often seemed like an inconvenience. The staff was not particularly welcoming, and an interaction with the manager before we even entered the restaurant left a poor first impression.
Shoney’s promotes warm Southern hospitality, kindness, and respect, but unfortunately our experience did not reflect those values. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the customer experience.

Me and my girl went wanting the buffet first of all it was 42 dollars for two people we could have went to Texas Roadhouse and payed 42 dollars for two people and had salmon Second of all there was only 3/4 options of food, cold Mac and cheese, hard rough chicken that tasted like it was cooked the day before and re heated, the mash potatoes had no flavor to it the only decent thing was ham and that was all they had to serve and oh you want dessert? No the only thing they had was tiny marshmallows and gello who the hell pays 42 dollars for sum gello and small marshmallows i could have went to dollar tree and got that for the amount of food they served and how bad and re heated it all tasted will never ever be coming back to this place👍

We ate the breakfast buffet before heading home from vacation. Buffet was excellent but the service was top notch! Our 13 year old son has alpha gal and they were so accommodating and didn’t make him feel like a burden. Tony was our host and he was super polite. Ashley was our server and made sure as soon as we said there was a food allergy that most of the buffet food he had on his plate was fried in bacon grease. She then stated they could make him some eggs and potatoes that weren’t fried in bacon grease. The manager Robin was also very helpful and made sure that he got his belly full and had an excellent experience. Thank you for being so kind and helpful!
