The waitress was pleasant and attentive. Our big complaint was the price. It cost the same amount as us getting a bbq meal from a big BBQ restaurant. Over $50 for two people?!! Sorry not worth it for cold potatoes and half burnt French toast sticks. I should have gotten the hint based on the empty parking lot.

My son told one of the staff that a stack of plates had food on them and then we watched as they stacked them right back on the normal stack.... food quality was low, many of the choices were not much warmer than room temperature. First and last time going to shoneys for us.
- TBTom BurkhardtJul 28, 20262.0We went for dinner and actually did wonder why the parking lot was empty. That should have been a red flag. We went in anyway and were promptly seated. We decided on the buffet which had been good here on past visits to Pigeon Forge. Not this time, most of the food was room temperature at best. Food was of poor quality and not very tasty. A few items weren't even distinguishable enough to know what it was. They had what looked like pot roast but it turned out to be some kind of pork in gravy and carrots. Mashed potatoes were instant potatoes. The salad side of the bar was fine and we had a good server who was very attentive. She even asked me at one point how was the food. I was honest with her and told her that I have had better. At a price of $16.99 my wife and I were pretty disappointed. That will be our last visit to this Shoneys for sure.
