- JOJ OberJun 17, 20263.0Recently visited RH Courtyard Restaurant at RH Nashville with my husband. Beautiful place and excellent service, but we both agreed the food was just so-so. Husband ordered the sea bass and while it was cooked perfectly, it was very small (2" x 3" piece) and came with a dollop of whipped mashed potatoes = $52. I ordered the lobster roll, which I found disappointing. It was just small pieces of lobster (not chunks, but not little bits) on a buttery roll - Conneticut style. No mayo or anything else, as I'm accustomed to seeing. It just had these little, room temperature lobster pieces and a buttery bun. Left me kind of flat = $36. The French fries or "frites", as they're called here, are nothing more than regular shoe-string French fries, so while they were good, they weren't anything to write home about = $11. The house-made chocolate chip cookies were very good - they came 3 on a plate (each is about 5" in diameter) and were warm and delicious. Haven't tried the other dishes there, but from what we saw being brought to other tables, the portions for most items were noticeably small, but beautifully presented. For being such an upscale restaurant, it just didn't "wow" either of us. We both left there thinking, "This was a nice place, but the prices were high for what we received".
