  I ordered the brisket and my wife ordered the lamb. They were both seasoned well and tasted great. I would definitely go to this restaurant again whenever I'm in Tennessee.

  Chops were a bit dry, but Lamb Shank and Lamb Ribs were excellent. Location is far away, would order more often if able to have delivered from Uber Eats. Overall tho 5 stars on food easy

  Went to try to get food, they were sold out. We ordered something else, waited 30 mins while the person serving gave free food to his buddies. Never brought our food out, hadn't even started it. We finally asked for our money back and girl swiped our card and didn't want to give us a receipt. They were rude and unprofessional. I WILL NEVER recommend anyone to go there. Then they spoke to each other in their language and it was obvious, they had NOTHING good to say. DO NOT GO HERE!

  Food is amazing! Best food in Nashville. Meat is so tender and seasoned to perfection. I tried the baklava for the first time and I was blown away. It was amazing. 10/10 it was amazing. I would upload pictures but it would be of empty plates!

  I hate leaving reviews like this. My wife and I often debate: Would you rather have amazing food and awful service, or friendly service and disappointing food? Unfortunately in the case of Meatville, it’s firmly in the former’s camp. We drove an hour and centered our day around lunch here. We were immediately fired up about the atmosphere. The wooden walls and giant MEATVILLE sign immediately set the Smokey tone perfectly. But that’s where our troubles began. The whole purpose for the trip was the beef ribs. They were out. No biggie, smoked food takes a long time to get right and you can’t always accurately predict how much you’ll need. How about the lamb shank? Also out. My wife ordered the casserole with okra.. no luck. No Okra? I guess a trip to Kroger was too much to ask so we adjusted and ordered over $100 of other stuff to try. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Nearly an hour without a word from anyone. But here’s the plot twist for us.. when our food finally arrived, INCREDIBLE. The brisket was so flavorful, the lamb ribs were so tender I couldn’t even get to a bone before it melted apart. The sides.. I can’t even believe this might be the best Mac and Cheese in Nashville. Literally everything we ate was top shelf. It absolutely sucks that we drove an hour, didn’t feel like a priority even after they didn’t have what we came all this way for, and then waited with no attention for so long. However, the food is absolutely worth the trip. If they can shape up their service, it would absolutely be one of the best smokehouses in Nashville.
