We made a reservation at Indaco Nashville for our daughter’s birthday—she’s a bit of a pasta connoisseur. We had visited the Indaco in Charleston several years ago during an anniversary trip and were incredibly impressed with the food. It was easily one of the best restaurants we ate at during the entire trip, so we were excited to try the Nashville location.
From the very beginning, the Nashville team demonstrated an uncommon level of attention to detail in creating a truly personalized dining experience. During the reservation process, they asked how old our daughter was turning, what she was interested in, and a few other questions to help make her birthday special.
When we arrived, Tiffany, the awesome manager, greeted us and showed us to our table. When we opened our menus, we were blown away to see that they had been custom printed with our daughter’s name and cartoon characters representing some of her interests. They had also prepared a gift for her—a set of pasta-making tools for making different types of pasta at home. Needless to say, she was absolutely thrilled!
Our server, Dennis, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, attentive, and kind without ever being overbearing. We started with some wine (50% off bottles on Mondays) the Focaccia, Burrata (compliments of the house), and the Tomato Salad. All three were absolutely incredible. Honestly, I’d go back again and again just for those appetizers.
For our entrées, we ordered the Monday special (Chicken Parm), the Radiatori, and the Mafaldine. All of Indaco’s pasta is made from scratch in-house, and you can absolutely taste the difference. One note: the Mafaldine was a little too spicy for one of our daughters, but the team quickly brought her some ricotta on the side, which helped mellow the heat when mixed in.
Because it was a Monday and the restaurant wasn’t quite as busy, Dennis went above and beyond and even took our girls into the kitchen to show them the pasta-making process.
I could go on, but suffice it to say, the food and hospitality at Indaco Nashville were next level. The combination of incredible food, thoughtful service, and genuine attention to detail is what sets this restaurant apart from most others. They didn’t just give our daughter a great birthday dinner—they created an experience our family will remember.
We’ll absolutely be back!

Zipped in after travel delays nixed one birthday meal for my mother, and lemme tell you Indaco went above and beyond after frantically hunting for a Saturday evening reservation. Experience: after reserving on OpenTable, they contacted me to learn more about the event/birthday girl. Which led to a custom printed menu, a small gift, and an overall experience that made my mother's week. From manager to host to server, all went out of their way to stop by and talk like she was a celebrity.
Food: solid A here, a bit salty but that is subjective. By the time you read this, the menu will likely change, but the Caramelle with sweet corn was a star pasta. The chicken saltimbocca was obviously made in-house and not a sage-bomb so that was good stuff. Drinks were solid as well.
