About

Barbecue Restaurant
At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

Edley’s was recommended to us by a friend. Could not be happier with our experience. The food came fast and it was delicious. It was so good and filling we got kids meals to go for dinner, and it was more than enough. I would definitely recommend this spot for young families.

Great neighborhood feel without being suspect from a cleanliness perspective or corporatized like some other bbq joints in the area that are Nashville local. Best part was the food. Brisket was all point which i appreciated but my daughter likes flats so maybe mix the cuts up a bit. Wings were fire. My daughter wants me to recreate it at home which made me laugh that she thinks i actually could. Fried green tomatoes were fire. My daughter hates tomatoes and she didn't share any of it and now claims she only likes tomorrow from Edley's. The best buy far was the banana pudding! My lord! Nothing tastes artificial which happens a lot elsewhere. We love this place!

Definitely do NOT order from this place! Their food isn't fresh, and the portions are tiny. The catfish I ordered was just a bunch of broken scraps in the box—there wasn't even a single full piece of fish! It literally looked like someone's leftovers were served to a delivery customer. It's overpriced and the portions are ridiculously small. I hope this restaurant goes out of business ASAP. On top of that, their food isn't sealed at all. They just used a flimsy paper bag containing two clear plastic containers that can easily be opened. Don't you guys realize that the most important thing for food delivery is proper tamper-evident packaging?

We visited the Gallatin Tn location. The service was awful. I am all for teenagers having a the opportunity to work but teaching them how to properly deal with issues. The food came out fast but that’s because it was old fries that had meat that had been sitting in grease. The banana pudding cookies are soggy. For the price pudding literally comes in a cup that most restaurants serve you ranch in. It wasn’t crowded. I went to get tea it was out I notified and asked if there was some the staff looked at me and proceeded to have a discussion of them being out since yesterday. They send one guy over there he said yeah it out and just stood there and looked at me. I got a coke. Went and sat with my husband as we were finishing up he brought all the ingredients out sit them at the drink station left and finally came back when we were leaving to make tea.

At the risk of sounding holier than thou, this place was not at all what the reviews said. Huge disappointment. Positives: paid parking and friendly counter staff. Negatives: you order at the counter, get your own drink, someone drops your food off and then you’re responsible for dropping your plates in a bus bin. Shockingly enough, they have 20%tip automatically selected when you sign the screen. Thankfully Mike noticed and dropped it to 18%. After all, we did everything except bring our food to the table. We are very generous tippers, but we tip for service and counter service and bringing my food to the table doesn’t merit 20%% We ordered the rib and brisket combo and for an additional charge added pulled pork. Our sides were the baked beans and mac & cheese. Mike also got a basket of fries. When she brought the food, it was sausage rather than the ribs. We explained that we did not order the sausage and she was kind enough to leave the plate and bring the ribs separately. Each of us did try the sausage and it was nothing to write home about. The ribs were an end piece so they were a bit chewy. Neither of us enjoyed the flavor of the ribs. I told my husband they reminded me of bologna. The baked beans had an odd taste. It was a sour taste that reminded me of something that is spoiled. I’ve never seen barbecue baked beans that had giant red kidney beans in them. The french fries tasted like old grease. I did like the mac & cheese, but it was not a usual southern mac & cheese. It was topped with breadcrumbs and my husband wasn’t crazy about it. The cornbread is probably good when it’s fresh, but it seemed dry. The brisket was moist and delicious and the pulled pork was also moist and delicious. Both the brisket pulled pork had great flavor. Those were the onky two things that were enjoyable in my opinion. Such a big disappointment, considering that I did research and read so many reviews and ratings on barbecue places in Nashville.
