The place looks like a thrown together pop up. Food was decent. But my plastic Coca-Cola glass was washed yet still dirty. I did notice it until after I drank half the glass. Yuck! The flies were a battle through the entire meal! Do better! You need a face-lift Edleys on Murphy Rd. No thanks to going back there.
As a 25 year veteran of judging competition bbq, trust me when I say I know good que. And this location, on this night, wasn't it. Rib-brisket combo plate. At least the menu said it was ribs because you sure couldn't tell by looking. Looked like a St. Louis pork steak. I could fold it in half in any direction, there were no real bones. You know, the point end of a rack where the bones disappear and it's nothing but cartledge and always overdone. Got my cardio in trying to chew the meat. They should have made burnt ends out of it. Brisket wasn't much better, failed to render the fat out sufficiently. Flavor was fair but cornbread shouldn't make a sound if you tap it on the table. I asked our server if there was any fresh, and she said that was the last piece of a tray but a new batch just came out. Fresh piece was great, if you like sweet cornbread. That last piece of cornbread and my 'ribs' should have never been served, that's a training issue. Back to Martin's BBQ for me.
I love Edley's for the pulled chicken, which is the best I've had anywhere. Like, pulled chicken isn't something I would normally order, but it's become my go-to at Edley's.
Normally, the Nolensville location (10 minutes from my house) is where I buy; however, they were out of pulled chicken on July 4, so I drove 20 minutes further to the Sylan Park location. Sylvan Park was a great location.

Well normally, this type of experience is unusual these days.
I ordered pickup online.
It was ready on time.
The staff was extremely helpful.
I got absolutely everything ordered.
It tasted great!
10/10
Edley’s has not only become a beloved staple of Nashville, but it’s become our go to place for great food.
Parking at sylvan park is dicey at best.
But Edley’s has got it together and we will always support them. The fact when I got home all my food was there…is a very big deal these days. I highly recommend Edley’s. Thanks- Beau

We are frequent Edley’s customers, but this visit was absolutely abysmal.
My daughter ordered 8 wings, my husband ordered the catfish platter, my son ordered a hot chicken sandwich, and I ordered brisket tacos. My husband’s catfish came out without tartar sauce, which was minor and easily fixed.
The real issue was my daughter’s wings. She got halfway through the first wing and realized it was raw inside. My husband stood in line to send it back, then finally had to stop a food runner, who took the wings back. Since she still needed to eat, my husband ordered her a catfish platter instead.
We then waited 22 minutes with no update from the runner, the kitchen, or anyone else. When we flagged the runner down, he said it would be ten more minutes for the catfish and asked if we wanted to cancel the order. No, we did not want to cancel the order. She still needed dinner. What we wanted was some sense of urgency after being served raw chicken.
To make it worse, we were eating before a show at TPAC, so we were on a time crunch. When the replacement catfish platter finally came out, it was missing the cornbread.
You pay ahead of time, so there was no easy way to be refunded, not that anyone offered. Raw chicken, missing items, no communication, and no urgency to correct a serious food safety issue. Extremely disappointing.
