At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

- MWMindy Waite1 day ago5.0The food was great. The sweet girl with the long brown ponytail (I think she was training) recommended the trio and it was delicious! Her customer service was top notch all the employees were very friendly and you could tell enjoyed their jobs. That says a lot about a restaurant. The banana pudding was very creamy. The bbq, beans and corn bread has more of a jalapeño spice to it than I’m used to but it was really good. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Nashville.

We are regulars at this point due to how consistent the food is, we love the hot chicken and the brisket, but also because of how friendly, fun and thoughtful the staff is! Mark G

We had some leftovers, even though folks went back for second or third helpings. The moist and flavorful pork shoulder was the best meat dish IMO, among the chicken and brisket (the brisket was *extremely* smoke flavored). Unfortunately, they had sold out of ribs by the time we ordered, only 20 minutes after they opened, so if you want ribs better get your order in early! Their classic BBQ sauce was tangy. The bean salad is a nice, light side to help counter the heavy BBQ, and the cornbread is to die for. I could eat an entire tray of it. But my favorite side was the coleslaw: it’s the best I’ve ever tasted, hands down. It’s not mayonnaise based, and had a delicious vinegar kick. Highly recommend!!
