  We came into Drifters BBQ with a loud, hungry group of 17 visiting from California after an event, and honestly… this place completely blew us away. The food was absolutely incredible. Everything we ordered came out flavorful, fresh, hot, and clearly made with care. The BBQ was amazing, the sides were delicious, and even with such a large group, the service never skipped a beat. What really stood out though was the staff. Every waitress was so kind, patient, attentive, and welcoming the entire time. Large parties can be stressful anywhere, especially when everyone’s tired and hungry, but they handled everything with such a positive attitude and genuine hospitality. The GM especially made a huge impression on us. I actually took the time to personally thank her because you can tell the atmosphere and culture of this restaurant starts from the top. Talking with her made us appreciate not just the restaurant itself, but the sense of community behind it. Coming from California where we eat out a lot and have pretty high standards for food and service, this was honestly one of the best overall restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. Great food is one thing, but great people make a place unforgettable. If you’re in Nashville, this place is absolutely worth visiting. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re here.

  We stopped here for lunch before heading to the airport. Food was really good and priced well for all we got. The hush puppies were a little crispy but still good. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for good bbq for a good price

  Great staff, great food, amazing music. I came for the music. I keep coming back for the vibes(live music included) and the food. I haven't had anything I didn't like on the menu but the BBQ brisket or sausage mac and cheese bowl is stellar. The fried pickles can't be beat.

  A little confusing on coming in and where to order food. If there's signage we missed it. Went on a thursday night. Its a nice place for late food since we got to the area around 9pm. It was an alright place. My friend said the burger was great which I should have probably got.

  Excellent Tennese BBQ joint, about 2 miles from downtown Nashville. Started with Nachos and the home made salsa and questioned dips. So, so good. The meats were tender and moist and full of smoky flavour. Sauces were well balanced, punchy and peppery whilst the sides were also excellent (baked beans a little sweet for me). Dessert was an Apple Cobbler that I couldn't finish, which demonstrates quite how full-up I was. As someone likes their crumble to have a sharpness to the fruit, it was sweeter than I'd prefer, but it nevertheless delicious. Pro tip: if anyone suggests that it would be nice to walk from central Nashville to the restaurant, in order to "discover" and get "under the skin" of the city, then don't. Nothing redeeming about the walk at all.
