  Calacas in downtown Nashville is such a great spot! The food is elevated, the cocktails are incredible, and their tequila selection is honestly one of the best I’ve seen. The asada tacos were delicious, and that crispy cheese crust was the perfect touch! Every cocktail we tried was absolutely on point, and Madiey was the BEST waitress. She knows her cocktails, made fantastic recommendations, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re downtown Nashville, I highly recommend stopping by Calacas, you won’t be disappointed!

  Great Mexican cuisine , great location and the best waitress ever. Sam was attentive and helpful in explaining our food choices. She truly cared about our experience. We will definitely return to this gem on our next trip to Nashville.

  You MUST visit this place if you are in Nashville. We started with the guacamole and salsa trio. Every single salsa was impeccable, but the spicy salsa was probably the best salsa I've ever had in my life. I wish I could take a bottle of this home and eat it every single day. We had 3 orders of enchiladas, and they were extremely yummy. Both of the sauces that come with the mole were also fantastic. I used my salsa on the enchiladas as well and it was the best bite. I would highly suggest ordering these. My mother also ordered the Chile rellenos and I have niber had something that tasted that way, but would also recommend this meal. The best part about our trip to Calacas was our server, Sam. She was bubbly and personable and so polite and helpful. She made every single aspect of this meal better. She made great recommendations and she made sure to check specific ingredients for my picky eaters. If you go here, make sure to ask for Sam and you will also have great service. All in all, Calacas will go down in my mind as the best meal in Nashville and I hope I am able to come back here someday.

  This restaurant truly has my heart, the tacos as well as the other entrees make ur mouth water! The desserts?… Mind blowing and absolutely yummy! Ms. Elena was my server and she did an amazing job at communicating and serving me! She deserves the world. Highly recommended.

  I wanted to take my family out for an elevated dinner and decided to try out Calacas! Everything was wonderful.. our waitress was incredible. She took such great care of all of us and was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the drinks were top notch! The guac and salsa sampler was the best I have ever had… My kids loved the quesadilla and asada tacos. My wife had the Carnitas and I had the Al Pastor tacos which were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Impressed is an understatement and we will be back soon!
