  My girlfriend and I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at the Aquarium Restaurant, and a huge part of that was our server, Javier. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. He checked on us often, answered all of our questions, and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling overbearing. The restaurant itself is incredible. Dining next to a massive 200,000-gallon saltwater aquarium filled with beautiful fish swimming all around you is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. It easily became the coolest restaurant we’ve ever visited and made the meal feel like an attraction all on its own. I ordered the Megalodon Burger, and it was fantastic—cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The food was great, but Javier’s outstanding service is what truly made the night memorable. His positive attitude and attention to detail turned a great dinner into an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re planning to visit the Aquarium Restaurant, I highly recommend asking for Javier. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing time. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be requesting Javier again!

  What an amazing experience for the little kids. Check their website for the mermaid show and meet-and-greet and reserve way in advance. It gets booked fast! If you missed the mermaid swimming in the aquarium there’s a meet and greet in the gift shop where you can snag a quick photo with the mermaid and your little one. Their aquarium has a large selection of sea animals. Such a beautiful view while dining in. My son spent the entire time recording and taking photos of all the sea animals. My daughter couldn’t believe she met a mermaid. Service was good overall. Food was cooked perfectly and not dry. We ordered the steak and lobster, shrimp & chicken Alfredo, kids burger and kids hot dog with build-your-own-sundaes. This experience was the highlight of their trip. We would highly recommend and revisit.

  Very mixed review here which led to a 3 star review overall. The aquarium itself was GORGEOUS! It was clean and well kept with a lovely assortment of fish, rays, sharks and eels. Of course the star of the show and the main reason we made the trip (from northern Indiana) was the mermaids! Mermaid Fiji and Mermaid Malibu were beautiful and performed well. My son got to have a nice meet n greet with Malibu after the show and he was flying high! She was so sweet and chatted with him for a few minutes and I got the sweetest video. I wont spend too long on the negatives, but the restaurant portion of the visit was subpar all around. Our waiter was not very attentive and forgot several things including putting in the order for one of our meals! He offered to put the order in after it was discovered, but we declined. A discount of some kind would have been nice, but was not offered. We ordered specialty drinks in souvenir cups and were told certain cups were sold out only to see those exact cups being served at other tables on the other side of the restaurant later. We were seated near the entrance so we knew those tables had just been seated. Not sure if there was an incentive for waitstaff to sell the ugly mermaid glass, but thats what we ended up with. The food itself was OK, but not worth the price by any means. I would return for the aquarium and mermaids, but would lean toward a light meal with low expectations.

  Atmosphere is amazing but food was poor. We’ve been traveling for 4 days and by far worst restaurant to date. I would have given a “1” but since mine was average, I gave a 2. My husband ordered the fried shrimp dinner and I think it had five of the tiniest little shrimp you have ever seen. They look like popcorn shrimp, a little tiny bit of coleslaw and some french fries for $25. We kind of looked at each other and laughed at first thinking this might be a child’s plate and they mixed it up, but we didn’t complain to the waiter (who was MIA). Very much overpriced for the tiny little shrimp that he got. On my dinner with the Land and Sea, the shrimp were three times his size. I felt so bad for him. He was really looking forward to a nice dinner. The picture below makes the shrimp look three times the size that they really were. He should have put his hand by it to show true size.

  From the moment you step into Aquarium, you’re greeted with an enchanting atmosphere that instantly captivates your senses. One of the standout features is the impressive display of over 400 fish across 200 species in beautifully maintained tanks. This captivating aquatic life provides a delightful visual feast, particularly for children, who are mesmerized by the vibrant colors and graceful movements of the fish. It certainly makes mealtime easier, as kids are entertained while enjoying their meals in front of a live show. The restaurant’s decor enhances the under-the-sea theme beautifully, with low lighting that allows the glow from the tanks to create a soothing ambiance. However, it can be quite chilly inside, which might be a bit uncomfortable for some guests. While the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, they feel disconnected from the magic of the restaurant. After stepping away from the enchanting underwater world, returning from the restroom can be a bit jarring, and I believe a more cohesive flow would improve the overall experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish is not only delicious but also beautifully plated. I highly recommend the ravioli with shrimp—it’s simply amazing and a must-try. A special shoutout goes to our server, Anthony. Despite being new to the restaurant for just a week, his professionalism and charm made it feel like he had years of experience. He answered all our questions with confidence and a friendly attitude, effortlessly engaging with both adults and children. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds his way back behind the bar in the future, as he possesses a natural flair for hospitality. Overall, Aquarium is a delightful dining experience that combines captivating decor, delicious food, and exceptional service. It’s a perfect spot for families looking for a unique night out.
