We've been going to 615 Chutney since they first opened, and it's become one of our favorite restaurants. From day one, we were impressed by the incredible food and genuinely friendly service. Over the years, we've visited so often that we've gotten to know the staff, and they've gotten to know us. The owner, Niroop, always greets us with a hug, and the staff already knows our usual order.
I always get the Kadai Curry, and my husband never passes up the Ceylan Chicken Veechu, which Niroop affectionately calls an "Indian Hot Pocket." It always makes us laugh.
Is every single visit absolutely perfect? No, and that's okay. Sometimes my 840 spice level curry isn't quite hot enough to make me cry, and I always tease Niroop about it. Occasionally, the bread around the Veechu falls apart, and they have to remake it, which means a little extra wait. One time, I even forgot to actually submit my dessert order. That one was completely my fault!
But what is always perfect is the care, hard work, and love that goes into every meal. You can taste how much they care about their food and their customers. Even if my "840" comes out more like a "440," it's still absolutely delicious.
They also allow you to bring your own wine, and they have a great selection of Indian beers if you'd rather order one there.
Over the years, 615 Chutney has become more than just a restaurant to us. They've become like family. We're so lucky to have them here in Bellevue, and I can't recommend them highly enough.
