Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AWAaron White4 days ago2.0I am from Texas and I can tell you that Whataburger has always been known to be slower due to "freshness". However this location has always been so efficient since it opened but today was not one of those days... 45 minutes to get my meal and then the fry's weren't even hot. You will have to do better if you are going to compete with the competition in the area.

It took a while in the drive-through, waiting for a single car ahead of me, so I was looking forward to some real onion rings. The onions were sliced big- the right way- and were hot and perfectly cooked, but the breading was quite greasy and the oil tasted old, and was dark. I think it needed to be changed a few batches before mine were cooked. Will try again another day.

The whole restaurant is super clean, and the staff could not be friendlier. Edward and his whole team are AMAZING! A first-class experience!!!
