Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Even though he’s a Cubs fan (and I’m a Sox fan) he still made us feel extremely welcome hahaha! Great food, even better customer service. Thanks guys for a great pit stop filled with great laughs and good grub.
- PCPatty ChapmanApr 23, 20261.0Just left Whataburger on Medical Center Parkway. My burger was ok, however the fries were brown and hard. Like refried maybe or just plain over fried. Who knows? I couldn't believe that someone would serve fries like that!! I ate my burger and took the fries back to the counter so the cashier could give them back to the Manager. I told her I wouldn't be back and I won't. I work too hard for my money and am tired of getting food that should be trashed from restaurants such as Whataburger. I would rather go to the grocery and cook my own food. I advise everyone else do the same because no one cares what they serve a customer any more and if you complain they don't care either. Just cook at home.
