  Been going here for a while and almost every week since it was first opened …and it was great. Food was delicious , service was always the absolute best. The individual who was always there knew the family well enough when he saw us approaching he had orders in and a seat ready. The past two to three weeks there were different people who were helping , who were certainly nice but not the same. The biggest drawback was the taste changed drastically …it went from authentic tasting to more basic tasting. I asked the new person if things changed and they said it was new ownership and everyone was let go - it’s a real shame. This was the top place in the boro for Indian food, the recent changes made it slip from the top.

  Everything was fresh and amazing. The Sarasota chaat was incredibly flavorful, the lamb kebab was seasoned so well, the garlic naan had fresh garlic on it and our main dishes were the perfect level of spice

  For a magical 4 hours, Clay Oven offers one of the best lunch buffets I have ever experienced in my life. The staff is friendly, the food is incomprehensibly flavorful, and the experience is transcendental.

  I had the lunch buffet for my first time here: everything was delicious AND I got a hot fresh order of garlic naan! Perfect for scooping up delicious sauces!!!

  This was the worst biryani I have ever ordered from an Indian restaurant. Initially, the dish looked promising; the top layer featured a good color and perfectly separated grains of rice. However, the inside was a complete disaster, it was actually black. The texture of the meat was like foam, as if it had been frozen to death. There wasn't even a hint of authentic biryani flavor. It appears the kitchen simply topped an old base with fresh rice after taking it out of the cooler. The meat was completely devoid of spice; in fact, I could see the spices breaking apart with the meat, which suggests it had been sitting in a freezer for months. I’m not even complaining about the use of a freezer itself, but at the very least, a restaurant should learn how to pack and store food properly. If this didn't come from the bottom of a freezer, I don't see any other way a chef could produce such a dish. Absolutely disgusting.
