  If you’re charging $14 for a bagel sandwich having fresh and washed lettuce that isn’t wilted, rotten, bagged pre sliced… would be a great start. People prioritize their health now and neglecting to have fresh and healthy produce is an issue. The staff was very nice and it wasn’t their fault. Corporate needs to prioritize ordering quality produce, not fast food produce. I won’t be back.

  Kiosk orders or pre order only is frustrating. Slight variations to menu items was a challenge. Staff answered a question but was focused on prepping orders rather than give us the main attention. Couldn't complete a simple order so we did not purchase any food. May be great but we prefer locally owned that can offer best service and will take US tender cash as payment.

  My husband and I have given Ugly Bagel a try a couple times now because we were excited to have a new bagel place in Mount Juliet, but unfortunately we just haven’t been impressed. For us, the biggest issue is that the quality doesn’t match the price. The bagels themselves are just okay, and after giving it multiple tries, there hasn’t really been anything that makes us want to keep coming back. We also ordered one of the peanut butter-style coffee drinks on two different visits, and both times it was extremely powdery with large clumps throughout it. It honestly tasted terrible and was difficult to drink. The other thing that really stood out to us was the lack of customer interaction. Every time we’ve gone in, there have been several employees working, but no one acknowledges you when you walk in. There’s no “good morning,” “welcome in,” or even much interaction when you pick up your order. You walk in, order from a kiosk, grab your food, and leave. I understand that kiosks are becoming more common, but especially here in Mount Juliet, a little friendliness and hospitality goes a long way. Even walking into the couple busy Starbucks nearby, you’ll have the baristas look up and say good morning or welcome you in. It feels strange to walk into a local business and have virtually no personal interaction at all — **especially when the kiosk then asks you to leave a tip. Overall, between the higher prices, less than average bagels, disappointing drinks, and lack of customer service, we just haven’t found a reason to return. I really wanted to like this place because it’s local and new, but after a couple visits, I think there are several areas that could be improved. ★ Side note for anyone who isn’t local and actually made it all the way to the bottom of this review… thank you! If you drove out to Mount Juliet specifically looking for a great bagel and leave here disappointed, please don’t give up on your bagel mission! Just nearby is Jersey Oven Bagels, and I cannot recommend them enough. Their bagels are outstanding, the people there actually greet and welcome you, and the entire experience feels completely different. Take a look at their reviews for yourself. If you’re already in the area and looking for an absolutely amazing bagel, definitely make the short trip over to Jersey Oven Bagels. You’ll be glad you did!

  Not 100% sure how to review this. It was good, but really not better than anywhere else that sells bagels. Bages are not made here fresh. They are made elsewhere and brought in. We made it our goal to try the 3 newer bagel shops and Ugly Bagels finished last. I am still giving the food 4 stars because it is good, just 3rd place out of 3. They were out of our top 2 spread choices (I wanted Chipotle, my wife wanted a different one). Ordering felt a bit impersonal and the (busy) workers standing there did not seem eager to answer questions.

  Alright, I've been here a few times. Sometimes the service is slow (which is forgivable, they always seem understaff), sometimes the bagels are too chewy, and they are pretty pricey. So, why did I keep coming back? Three reasons: Chocolate Chip Bagel, Cream Cheese Selection, and their Iced Peanut Butter Latte. I used to be someone that visited Panera Bread frequently just to get a Chocolate Chip Bagel. When they discontinued their bagels, I had no where to go. Grocery Stores do not often carry brands that sell CC Bagels, and Jersey Oven (while imo is a better quality bagel, sorry guys), does not have a Chocolate Chip Bagel. I was extremely excited when this place opened down the road and had my absolute beloved Chocolate Chip Bagel. Yes, they sometimes get a little chewy, but I will sacrifice my jaw for this specific bagel. I also like the cream cheese bagel selections more. The Funfetti Cream Cheese has a special place in my heart. HOWEVER, I am inching closer to going elsewhere because the main draw of this place was the Iced Peanut Butter Latte. OMG. If you have ever been to Gideon's in Orlando, Florida, at the Disney Springs Location they carry a Peanut Butter Cold Brew that is TO DIE FOR. The PB Latte at this location, when ordered with Oat Milk, tasted NEARLY identical. I could put price and inconsistent bagel quality aside if it means I get my iced latte. Unfortunately, I have learned they took it off the menu. I guess it was seasonal, but still a devastating loss (for me, I am dramatic, I know). You know what EVERY shop that sells coffee has in the fall? Pumpkin Spice and S'mores. You know what every coffee shop DOESN'T carry? PEANUT BUTTER! I didn't even order a latte because I already know I can get a perfectly good iced fall drink at Starbucks next door, Dunkin down the road, or Red Bicycle across the street. We don't need another shop that just carries pumpkin spice and s'mores/campfire mocha for fall. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE those flavors, but the pumpkin spice market is oversaturated. Not to mention, Panera brought back their chocolate chip bagel for Fall (rejoice!). So I hardly have a reason to return now. :(
