After waiting about five minutes with no response, I tried going inside, but the door was locked. I noticed there was only one employee inside, clearly overwhelmed and working on multiple orders. When I tried the door, he asked me to go back through the drive-thru, and by that point, more cars had pulled in. I want to be clear that I’m not upset with the employee, I actually feel for them. Being the only person working late at night, handling everything alone, seems incredibly stressful and unfair. probably to keep labor down or because it’s understaffed because it’s probably terrible to work there because they put their employees in situation like this. My frustration is with the company for allowing a situation like this. It reflects poor staffing and puts unnecessary pressure on employees while also affecting customer experience. I ultimately decided to leave, and I won’t be returning to this location. No one should have to work under those conditions, and customers shouldn’t be put in that situation either.
