  My experience here usually is good but last Thursday it was horrible! 1st thing they couldn't keep the bar stocked at all and was very slow changing things out. 2nd was it seemed they had one waitress because we were constantly forgotten about after she asked if we needed more drink, next thing shed be up front at register or serving others with nobody else in sight. Finally after eating idk if food was bad or what but I got really really bad sick with diarrhea

  In all honesty. I can't speak about the food. We wrnt in, looked at the buffet, went back to our table and requested a menu. The menu wasn't very appealing and neither was the buffet. The food on the buffet appeared to have been there a little while. There may have been 10 or 12 people in the whole place not counting employees. Our would ha e been waitress was very, very sweet. She wore a smile and was so polite even when we told her that we had decided not to stay. Now that is a sweet young lady!!! The restaurant appeared clean and the folks eating there seemed content. The buffet just didn't seem appealing to us. Maybe next time when we haven't been on the road for so long.

  Very disappointed with the progressive decline of food at this particular location. We started going here 4 years ago and in that time, the food just gets worse every time we go. Tonight, the salad bar had next to no options and the lettuce was wilted and slimy. When they put fresh lettuce out, the new was poured over the old instead of taking the slimy stuff out. The Mac and cheese had essentially no discernible noodles and had a thick layer crusted across the top. When asked if they would be putting fresh out, the staff at the food bar hollered back to the kitchen that “there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the macaroni and cheese” yet out of the 15-20 diners in the restaurant, not a single one touched it in the 30 minutes we were there. The food options were fairly limited tonight, the breads were hard, the soups looked like they had been sitting out all day without so much as being stirred, and the mixed salads were either full of liquid or dried out. Our server was pleasant, but when it came time to paying so we could leave, she seemed to be the only staff member in the place; the hostess, manager, and other staff were nowhere to be found. The pleasantry of the servers every time we go in is the only reason I’m not rating this a solid 1. We will make the drive to dandridge if we decide we want to venture to Shoney’s again.

  The food was so bad I left hungry. 😫 Nothing was good. Even my soda tasted off. Very disappointed. Not what it used to be.
