  A nice quiet place Kelly our server was super nice and polite never been here before the buffet was phenomenal if I live in the area I would go back a lot!

  This old asian woman showed us to our table, that had no ketchup or pepper on the table. We told her we wanted to buffet, told her our drink order and went to the buffet. The food was kinda old looking, with scraps of other foods mixed in that were dropped by idiots filling their plates. About 3 minutes into our meal, she brought another round of drinks and the bill. About 10 minutes into the meal, she came by to ask how i was paying! With a mouth full of food, i said card. So she sat down the card reader thing for me to pay now. I thought that was extremely inconsiderate, rude, upsetting, and greedy! I sat my fork down, wiped my fingers, pulled out my card and paid. After paying, i glanced at the bill she left, i didn't get a receipt either. But i then realized i forgot to ask for my military or senior discount, because i was rudely rushed to pay in the middle of my meal! I think I'm done eating at that, and probably all other shoneys from now on! At other restaurants, it’s kinda normal for them to set down a card reader for your pay towards the end of your meal. And even then, they just set it down and say whenever you're ready and walk off. They don’t stand there pointing at it! When i go to a sit down resturant, even a buffet, i expect to eat in peace! Im very disappointed! Do better or youll continue to lose customers!

  The cook was horrible. My onion rings were under cooked and chewy as if the cook just turned the deep friers on and tried to cook the rings before the oil got heated up to temperture. They looked extremely light in color. My turkey club sandwich was ice cold. They butter the heck out of the bread but barely toasted it , didn't melt the cheese at all ( no problem if they changed the recipe ) but the worst part was the turkey tasted like it was literally just thawed out halfway after it was pulled out of the freezer. I'm honestly surprised there wasn't ice chips on it. The server never asked if I was dissatisfied or if I wanted a To-go box if by some chance I just wasn't hungry so I never complained since she showed no interest in why I was throwing away a whole sandwich and an order of onion rings. Ironically there wasn't a manager in site. It's sad that their cooks couldn't get a turkey sandwich and onion rings right. I know I could've been a Karen but if they don't care then I don't want to waste my time. I'll just pay my tab, tip accordingly to the service and quality of food, share my experience and never go back. If I was in corporate and learned of this behavior, I would be extremely embarassed for the standards this store provides because ultimately it's a reflection on the company as a whole. Shoneys used to be a good restaurant with managers and employees that cared.
