Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Came from out of town visting! First time going to a Whataburger. originally from Georgia, but there were not any Whataburger's in our area before moving up north. Which made this exiting to try something new. Staff was freindly, and walked us though on what to order. They even sliped in a free chocolate milkshake in there for us! definitely will be making another trip soon!

    Do NOT pull into the drive thru. Hour plus wait times. Workers must be marking orders as done to avoid corporate from seeing what's going on. Do not go here.

    I had stop coming to this location bc the last two times overnight my meal was cold! Burger and fries wasn’t fresh at all. I decided to give them another try. Pulled up at 1:50am order double meat and I was shocked that my burger was HOT! I literally felt the heat through the bag. 👍 Hats off to the cook who was working Sunday morning.
