  We had lunch at On The Border on Sunday 5/3/26. The new menu is about 1/4 of the old menu. A lot of the favorites have been removed like the Live Guacamole that they made at the table and the white queso dip. I had the beef burrito and my wife shared a taco salad with my mother. My burrito was greasy and didn't taste as good as the old burrito's. My wifes taco salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with a small amount of other ingredients. We had cheese dip, 2 meals, 2 teas and 2 $6 margarita's and with an 18% tip the bill was almost $100.00. The waitress was frustrated but not her fault. We will NEVER return to this restaurant. The food quality is poor and the prices or too high for the quality of the meal.

  When I came in and found out pappasitos had taken over I was excited. Taryn the bartender was amazing and I ate lunch THEN dinner just because of Taryn and the pappasitos fajitas. Today I was thrown into reality and understand that without proper management in place to execute best practices and standards. Memphis will ruin anything good. Service was not pappasitos standards. Curse words in front of customers, food plating was way off, screaming in front of house, back of house employees up front with cigarettes behind the ear. Pappasitos would be great in Memphis… but things will not change without a bought in staff. Lover of great service and great food.

  Terrible food and service. It used to be one of our favorite places to go. I will not be back - I had to ask multiple times for different things I ordered. No chips when the cheese dip came out. No tortillas with my fajitas. Drinks from the bar never came without asking. Food came out cold. Not what the place used to be.

  This used to be a great restaurant but they’ve changed the menu and reduced it to very few options. They got rid of everything that was good!

  Came in around 7 pm very empty all employees were hanging at the bar. Service was better than expected! Food was mediocre I’ve had better at Taco Bell to be honest
