- SMSyd MorganthalerAug 13, 20264.0A group of us came for a work outing and we had a great time. Bowling was great and we will definitely will be back for the fun. Unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends. We arrived around 5:30 on a Wednesday evening and the place was virtually empty. We sat at a table and were ignored by the staff for several minutes. When a server finally came over, she was training, which was NOT a problem, everyone has to learn. The problem is, she wasn’t being trained to bring plates, utensils or napkins with the appetizers. When we asked for napkins, we received a stack of paper towels. When the food came, we got 1 pizza that was soggy, the fish was dripping grease and the grilled chicken salad came with crispy chicken…the burger was decent. We had to ask for silverware and got ToGo packs. The little guy running our food seemed scared to approach the table, which could be a personal limitation he has so I’m not mad about that. When we got over to bowling, my friends ordered a round of drinks that took 4 frames to arrive. They all enjoyed their cocktails but 4 frames for 2 shots and a beer on dead night seems excessive. Overall, we had a great time and I can see where it would be an amazing place to bring a group or kids for a party but if you’re looking for great food or expecting a “restaurant” experience, you may be disappointed. Everyone was extremely friendly but the mechanics of service and food quality were lacking. I fully believe all of our issues can be resolved through training.

The first game we chose to play was basketball, but after swiping the card the balls didn’t come out. For a first impression after a few years- I was nervous that the first game we decided to choose decided to be a dud. I walked around until I saw a team member. “Tiger” immediately followed me across the room to assist with the malfunction. He got a different basketball lane to work for my boyfriend and I with a swiftness. He had great customer service and we appreciated him!

The only disappointment was the food service staff: pure rudeness, and honestly the one thing that would make me think twice about going back. Considering you’re there for a considerable amount of time and can’t bring in outside food, you’d expect the people serving you to be at least polite, if not overly friendly.

Was fun playing classic arcade games like Tic Tac Toe, Space Invaders and shooting hoops. 🏀 I loved the variety of games. The goodie bags had cute perks and I enjoyed the colorful cocktails/mocktails. Thanks, team!
