- CRChris Roberts2 days ago2.0I really wanted to like this place because it seemed like one of those “must-try” Memphis spots. Unfortunately, our experience was pretty disappointing. Our server recommended the onion rings and mentioned they’re one of the things Huey’s is known for, so we gave them a try. They were huge, but that was about the only thing that stood out. There was way too much batter, very little seasoning or flavor, and no dipping sauce was served with them. Overall, they just weren’t good. The atmosphere was great, which makes me want to give Huey’s another chance. I’ll probably try a different location because I still want to understand why so many people love this place. Maybe we just caught them on an off day.
- NNnajaSep 23, 20261.0Tonight, my friends and I decided to go out to eat here, and when we arrive, everything was fine there were people there and when we found our table and we sat down after about 10 to 15 minutes, our server came and asked us what beverage do we want we told him he said OK about 10 minutes. After that he came back with our drinks he asked us what we’re doing any appetizers or will we skipping straight to the entrées? I told him that I wanted to entrée for the wings and my friends ordered wings as well so there were three orders of wings. After about 20 minutes we received our food.The chicken Still had blood in the chicken our drinks were starting to get low And our server did not Come back and give us a refill about 10 minutes. He brought my friend her drink. and I told him that I wanted to order a burger and some fries I received the burger. The burger was OK, but when I got the fries, the fries were still raw on the inside. I still let that slide after my friend communicated to me that her tater tots were way too overcooked. I told her OK we can send it back and or get a refund. From this experience, I don’t think that I will ever be able to come back to this location because of the lack of service, the attitude and the environment we walked into at this point I think that we should’ve just turned around as soon as we saw how long it took for the drinks to come out. We would have understood if the restaurant was crowded, but it wasn’t…. 0/10
