Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I genuinely don’t understand how this Whataburger manages to disappoint every single time. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, only for them to STILL get the order wrong. How does it take that long just to mess it up?
The customer service was somehow even worse. The employees were rude from the start, and while we were waiting forever, you could literally hear them laughing and carrying on in the back instead of doing their jobs. Meanwhile, customers are standing around wondering where their food is.
To top it all off, the Coke tasted awful because apparently the syrup was out. If your drink machine isn’t working correctly, maybe tell people before handing them a flat, carbonated cup of disappointment.
This wasn’t a one-time bad experience either. Every time I’ve given this location another chance, it’s been the same story: ridiculously slow service, incorrect orders, rude employees, and zero sense of urgency. At this point, I’m convinced this location has no standards whatsoever.
If you value your time, your money, or simply want the food you actually ordered, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. This place has consistently been the worst fast-food experience I’ve had, and I won’t be wasting my time here again.

This is the first Whataburger we tried. Viveca was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and personable, providing the best customer service which we didn’t expect from a fast food restaurant we stopped at for a quick bite to eat. She even gave us coupons and told us she hoped we would make this location our home Whataburger. Customer service is so important and it really makes an impact; now we will make sure to return to this location solely because of Viveca. She deserves a raise!
The burgers were large but a little tasteless, comparable to Krystal’s burger. We had another burger made fresh because one of the first burgers wasn’t made correctly to order. The second burger came out hot and fresh which vastly improved the flavor, making it a good burger. We also ordered the apple pie which was good too.

I wish I could give them negative zero after today but I had to put something to leave my review. I have never had a problem with this place till tonight. So I keep foster children who is trying to be placed with families and today we was all talking and most them never had a Whataburger before so I decided tonight to let them stay up late ( most never got to do without being in trouble as well) and I went out to grab them all a Whataburger. So I ordered ahead online for the family box ( that was 10 double Whataburgers- including lettuce, pickles, onion, tomato, mayo, mustard and it also says ketchup,) these kids was the happiest I've seen them yet to get these burgers. When I drive all the way to get them and back after paying around $65 for my order the kids meet me at the car and run into the house excited to make there burgers with there movie. Seeing there faces was so depressing after they opened the box to find only 10 burger lettuce pickles and tomato... They had dry burgers NO MAYO NO MUSTARD NO KETCHUP NOTHING after I asked to make sure it was all in there and was told yes it's all included.... I'm beyond upset for these kids tonight now I'm sure never again will they want to try another one.. I would have just run to grab some but I live a good distance from there and everything else was closed for the night.. what a waste of $65 this was and i will probably not ever want to pay that again there.. hope someone makes this right for the kids sake

We are from out of town where we don't have Whataburger, so we decided to grab a bite after spending some time in downtown Nashville. We waited in the drive thru line for 40 minutes, paid for our food, and was asked to pull up. Another 25 minutes goes by before someone comes out and says they don't have our food on the screen, and ask what we ordered.
We were obviously not willing to wait another unknown length of time for our food, since an hour had already passed. We got our refund, an apology and went elsewhere. Needless to say, waiting an HOUR in a drive thru lane and leaving hungry is not what we expected. Do better

Whoever works the night shift.. Terrible service. Very rude. Leaving items off order, that were very basic. A large Sprite. And then ontop of that very rude.. throwing the food bag at me and in my car. I was very polite as always "Thank you" "Yes, please" Basic kindness and in return got my food thrown at me, and no return in polite words.. I understand that working night shift can be rough and difficult. Ive done it before, myself. But in no way does that give you the okay to treat people with disrespect excpecially when you were treated with nothing but kindness..
