Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    This place is the slowest place alive had to stand here for 10-15 minutes before anyone ever even took my order and then when they did I set another 20-25 minutes waiting on it and when it did get here it wasn’t even done all the way worst place ever to eat at do not recommend at all

    Ordered a double whataburger, specifically asked for only cheese and onion multiple times. Received my burger with no onion and had pickles. I believe this was done purposely. Also burger was soaking wet, along with no napkins. I enjoy whataburger but this location needs some improvements.

    Drive thru made me wait 15 mins with no one in line in front of me and still made me wait and pull up to park to wait another 10 minutes or so just for my burger to be lukewarm and tasted like a reheated burger with barley any toppings.. worst location I've been to.. won't be coming back. Disappointed.

    I whataburger a lot when I make my way through the south when I go visit my family. Like more than the average person should. In my 30odd years of being alive and frequenting too many Whataburgers, these were the nicest pair of Whataburger employees Ive ever had the privilege of running into and honestly the best whatastrips Ive had in like 5 years. I absolutely suck at looking at nametags so I didn't get names, so my 11pmish 5/5/26 employees I chit chatted with yall are the best and I hope yall get the appreciation yall deserve. Ideally financial appreciation 😏

    Their sausage gravy for the biscuits and gravy had zero sausage in it for both orders, and this was after waiting for 10 minutes for the order, but nobody in front of me or behind me in the drive-through at 7 AM. What a joke. Update. Went in today to have the meal refunded like I was told when I called the store the morning of the incident. Was told two different things, first that I had to come back during breakfast hours for a meal replacement no refund. So the first manager, Isaiah lied to me on the morning of the incident when he told me I could come in for a refund at my convenience just bring the receipt. When I told them today that that was not acceptable, the location was too far from my house and we just happen to be driving by on the way home from the airport last Saturday. That was the only reason I stopped there. Then the second thing I was told today was that nothing could be done because it was supposed to be the day of the incident. When the assistant manager told me this, I asked for his name, and he immediately covered his name tag with his hand, and he would not tell me the store manager’s name either nor let me talk to him or her. He said have a nice day. We were 14 year Whataburger customers, never again. Better Business Bureau complaint is going be filed today. Already called corporate. Really? Over $14.33 Whataburger?? Anywhere I can find a post a bad review about this restaurant and this branch I will, and to the assistant manager Darryus , you tried to cover your name tag when I asked you your name, you’re not as slick as you think you are!! Last thing, on the way out some customers sitting at the table, waved us over. They heard everything and they taught us how bad they had been mistreated by customer service at that location also. Way to go store #1315!!
