Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MWMary Lou WatsonSep 29, 20261.0We purchased two burgers, one Jr and one regular. I have never been so disappointed. I'm from TX, always loved them and couldn't wait for them to get to TN. I had to add mustard to the second bun because nothing on it. I also added a little more lettuce and tomato because so little on it. But the worse part was the meat patty, it was so thin, like 1/8inch thick. This is not the What-A-Burger I knew. I will not go there again since there are many better burgers out there now.

When i got there no one was up front finally a older grey haired man i believe a manger finally came take my order and he seemed to hardly have any clue what he was doing , had visible track marks and acting cracked out he was also being incredibly rude to the few employees that were there which is disappointing and disgusting considering down in texas they treat each other with respect and like family to correct a good atmosphere for customers. Moving on to the food even Though I waited forever the burger was wrong and half raw edit: I once again made the mistake of going back as I was craving whataburger and was hoping maybe they had fixed the issue they have not though and it gets worst i asked for a refund this time and the manger was same one as before and he was incredibly rude when asked and claimed he didn’t know how don’t ever waste your money here trash food and even trashy management the employees provided good service but the manger food and prices aren’t worth dealing with
- WFWilliam FinsleySep 18, 20263.0We love Whataburger, the one near UT is terrifyingly bad. No ice in the soda machine, drinks tasted flat, meat was still pink inside. It felt like a college student made my food. I appreciate the authenticity but there are better whataburgers out there.
