  We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Workers were inside laughing but it didn’t seem anyone was working. We thought they may be closed but we were there at 8 pm and they close at 2 am. 🤷‍♀️

  Food was fine. I mean it’s a fast food place. Burger was decent. Tator tots are good. The price is probs the best thing. 7 bucks for a drink, sundae, burger and tater tots

  Stopped here at around 10:15 PM, well before their closing time. There were about 5-6 cars in the drive-thru. I pulled in, pressed the button, and waited for about 15 minutes, which is fine. Eventually the speaker came on and I was told verbatim: "Hi, thank you for choosing Sonic. Due to a lack of staffing and one of our employees disappearing, I have no idea where she went, we are unable to take any more orders." Being told that is absolutely insane. So I ended up leaving with nothing. Now I want to make clear that this review holds nothing against the guy that spoke to me, I'm sure he was placed in a very stressful situation out of his own will, especially with all of the cars still in the drive-thru. If anything, I appreciated his honesty and transparency. But the mere concept of an employee "disappearing" and them being so understaffed that they have to stop taking orders is plain ridiculous. I don't know who they're hiring at this Sonic or what sort of decisions management is making, but it's flat out absurd.

  Refuse to take any drive through orders in evenings despite hours showing they do. Extremely rude staff. This is a recurrence and not just a one time deal due to staffing. My husband has tried to snag a couple drinks anywhere from 7-9pm multiple times only to be told drive through can’t take orders? This time he asked to speak to a manager and was told “manager wants to tell you he’s busy”. Doubtful there is even a manager on site. This sonic is TERRIBLE and definitely next to get shut down. Employees are definitely getting paid to just hide inside and do zero work.

  I seen two cars in front of me leave. The car at the microphone was never answered They went to window, hoking their horn. Said there was only two people in the store. These two were hiding in the back of store. I was at microphone, no one ever answered I called the store number, no answer. 5 cars were in line behind me. This was about 9pm on a Thursday night. Last week. This is not the first time We have called in orders and they are never right The dasher would call us and say they are saying they don’t have your order or they are really slow. Dasher also informs us there is hardly any people there ordering. They just ignore and hide in back of store.
