  Restaurant was clean and staff were super friendly. We had the dinner buffet and it was fresh and hot. The taste of the food was amazing. I’d never been to a Shoney’s so it was a great first impression and I highly recommend

  Dined in tonight with my family. We were taken care of by the fabulous Ms Donna. She was attentive, kind, and went out of her way to take care of us and make us feel special. She is an incredible asset. With customer service in many restaurants on the decline Ms Donna shows that it isn’t lost everywhere.

  I've had better tasting MRE's in the wilderness than what they had on the buffet. Staff was friendly but the quality of food was terrible. Hamburgers tasted like it was the left overs from the week before. Same with the salad bar. I've been to a few Shoney's in Knoxville but this one is by far the worst quality of food I've ever had. Place was practically empty at around 5pm which usually says a lot. Staff was helpful and friendly but the food quality is very poor

  It has been well over a decade since I had last gone to a Shoney's due the location in the USA I lived not having them anymore. The restaurant was as good as I remembered it and I was glad I went. The buffet bar was well stocked for the lunch rush and had a good variety of items for me to pick from. It was the weekend, so breakfast was the option that I went with. Our waitress was quick and prompt with her service. The rest of the restaurant was about 50% full, so there was chatter and noise appropriate for that amount of people. The booth we sat in was appropriately comfortable and appointed. I definitely have no problem returning when I get another hankering for their cuisine. So if it's been a while for you, give them a try.
