    Found this place on a recommendation from a friend. One hundred percent recommend stopping here. The food was outstanding and the service was incredible. Staff is great and very friendly. We even found a parking spot right out front.

    I don’t write reviews at all, but holy crap. We sat in the patio area, and about 15 minutes later, a few people sat in the table next to us. About a minute after they sat down, a waitress came out and immediately greeted them. I could tell they were regulars because they seemed to talk about outside life, and she immediately took their orders. We did about 10 more minutes of waiting, and another couple sat down on another table. Someone else waited on them a little afterwards. In total we had to wait about 30-35 minutes for someone to even look at us. By the time we were asked what we wanted, the other table was almost done with their food. Took another 30 minutes before we got our food. I could be extremely cranky because I was hangry, but it was our first time going. I don’t wanna be a Karen, but I just wanted to get up and go somewhere else. The food was good, but not really worth the wait. :/ None of our sandwiches had sauces too, even though on the menu they had specialty sauces listed with our sandwiches.

    Pete’s a typical small town diner, but in this case located in downtown Knoxville (not a small town). Very friendly service, comfortable seating, typical “common folk” breakfast food. The portions were not large which was ok with us. The difference in 4-star vs 5-star was Service not closing out the bill Some canned ingredients (ie Jalapeno) rather than all fresh. They charged $6 bucks for one pancake which I substituted for toast/fruit (most restaurants make this substitution for free). Overall a solid 4-Star

    After a day of driving and a night of drinking brekky was needed. I looked, saw Pete's Restaurant & Coffee and thought, sounds great, so I schlepped on over. Packed. Good sign. Giant plates. Good sign. Seat yourself at the counter and get your feed on. Got the bowl of eggs, meats, cheese and potatoes with a topper of gravy and biscuit, coffee as my drink. Fantastic. Hot, fresh, quality ingredients abs fast friendly service. Here's the Breakdown: Good eats in a clean, bright place with great service +5 stars. I would, 100%, go back
