First impressions are lasting. And after spending some time reading their reviews, I can see my complaints are pretty much in line with everyone else’s. So, Mr Arby’s, you can spare me a reply with how you missed the Mark, fall short, yada yada yada, and take the same energy and fix your stores. No reply necessary.
I placed my order and the lady at the counter who I will describe is only not being able to stand to do her job, was fairly rude and never thanked me for my order or did she provide a receipt. From that moment on she pretty much was done with me and never made herself accessible on that point. My food comes and the cheesesteak was absolutely terrible. Of course it looks nothing like what they advertise, this was best described as cheese soup poured over bread and meat. One bite and the entire sandwich spills out all over your hand and table. The curly fries weren’t really curly. they were more fried bits of the end of the curly fry. There was no ketchup containers at the self serve counter, and when I brought it to a manager’s attention she did replace those,. I watched the same counter lady process three other customer transactions and on each one she failed to thank them and provide them a receipt. Having enough I went and asked for their corporate or district manager’s phone number to which they said they had no idea who that was but I could call 1- 800 Arby’s. Count the letters and there’s no way that is the number. So finally, I call a number from the website and reach a call center obviously overseas. Could not understand one word of this person talking to me as it was over a poor connection and a heavy accent. Even their website complaint form requires a receipt ID number, so it seems that no one is able to make a formal complaint without a receipt .hmmmmmm..
As a consumer, if you are OK with all I posted above then congratulations, you have found your place!
I promise you the line will be short.
