  This place is terrible. Every time I go to this location, they take forever even when there is no cars there. They always act like they're busy even when there are only 4 cars in the entire lot. Every time I order a blast I ask for extra. And I tell them I want a lot of extra candy and I expect to be charged for it. However it is hit or miss if I get even close to enough of the candy. Today I ate a cookie dough blast. In the first 5 bites I got 0 cookie dough. I got home where I could see it in the light and there may have been 10 cookie dough pieces in a small blast. That's ridiculous for a regular blast, and completely unacceptable for extra. I called them to talk to someone and I got hung up on 3 times. So I decided to leave a bad review instead. The sonic on W Stone Dr. in kingsport has very little to be desired. The service is always terrible and the food is almost never good. Honestly we don't go to this sonic very often but every once in a while we give it a chance. Hoping they will do a better job. I guess that sonic is just doomed to fail. The night we went was a Friday night around 10pm July 24 2026.

  One star. Waited almost FORTY minutes for three drinks to have NEVER gotten a single one of them! I could go anywhere else to get a drink faster than I could here.

  Food was great. A great value for me and my wife. I don't like the small parking spots next to the menu board. Can barely fit a truck in them.

  I rarely go to Sonic. Got the $7 Value meal and was pleasantly surprised. It is a legit burger with a decent amount of tots and chicken nuggets. Not sure I will ever order another value meal from those other fast food chains again after getting a good value here. Service was friendly and fairly quick.

  I'm really not sure what the issue is with this store. A couple years ago I would never have had any complaints but lately it seems that they are not receiving proper training or something. The last 4-5 times Door Dashing from here or even going to the store myself there has been some issue of one kind or another. Either items from my order are missing or I recieve items that i did not order to begin with. Mostly it seems that they have a hard time with keeping orders together or knowing what items belong to certain orders.
