  Seriously the best barbecue! Better than Hutchins BBQ in TX. The beans, the mac and cheese, the ribs, pork and brisket, all amazing! Do yourself a favor and eat here! Get the walk in sampler, get a little bit of everything, it’s all great!!!

  Me and my wife took the kids out Saturday and figured we would stop and try this new spot in downtown Jackson. It wasn't hard to find & there was even a play area to keep the grand baby occupied. Small inside area for ordering so we waited for the couple that got there first before we went in. It's small but it's nice, clean & much cooler than outside. Had a rough time ordering but this was our first time here & the employees helped a lot. We got a little of everything except brisket, we will be back for that one. The turkey was excellent, 4 cheese Mac was the best I've ever had. The pulled pork left me wishing I wouldn't have ordered ribs. The ribs were good folks but I was reminded why texas bbq just isn't the best way to do ribs. Seasoning was good & I ate ever piece of my half rack. Just not high on my list. Made a combo on a few things. Came with a cold drink and some side. Every thing got ate. It's good food in a little spot. We will be back...

  My daughter surprised me with an order of absolutely amazing pork ribs!!! They were the best ribs I’ve ever eaten!! They were extremely succulent, flavorful and fell off the bone as soon as I picked up one!! I’m excited to try every menu item!! I’m so glad Wholly Cow Barbecue is located in Downtown Jackson!!

  Fantastic food and wonderful people. The Brisket is really nice with an excellent bark and the fat just disintegrates in your mouth, giving a beautiful silky texture and rich flavor. The Turkey, though... I can't say enough good things. Especially fresh right after he's sliced it. Some of the juciest, most flavorful, and delicious turkey I've ever tasted. I've been back for another visit and confirmed that it was not a fluke, the turkey really is THAT good! The smoked mac & cheese is INCREDIBLY rich. Almost too much for me, but incredibly delicious at the same time. Because of the richness I only want to eat a few bites in any sitting, but those bites are heavenly nonetheless. Highly recommend a visit, especially if you're out to visit the farmers market on a Saturday morning.

  Everything was exceptional. The food was delicious!! We ordered the walk-in platter I believe that’s what it was called and the smokiness and flavor of everything was perfection. Brisket, ribs, turkey, pulled pork, and baked beans were absolutely phenomenal. The staff are always so pleasant and smiling. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back again!!
