Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Tonight set me off though cause I swear we just have waited 30 minutes or more and there was only 2 cars in front of me after I ordered. When I finally got my food, I had to ask why did it take so long? She goes on to tell me that the meat was frozen. I said aren’t you a burger place? Don’t you serve meat and she said yep the meat was frozen. Have a good night and walked off… if you want to wait longer than a sit down restaurant then go here but this seems to be a common problem with every Whataburger. Wish it would get better.

- SMSean MilanSep 2, 20261.0I don't leave bad reviews but last night was the worst. A coworker and i come in order just simple meal burger with only lettuce tomatoes and pickles and fries . There was only a few cars in the drive thru on a couple eating on the inside. Thinking it would be a quick 10 minute food trip to a 35 minute food wait. So I didn't complain and left with my food. A few hours later be are both sick throwing up . There had to be some cross contamination somewhere for both of us to get sick and have different meals.
