Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

One of my friends is a DIABETIC and he ordered unsweet tea and instead they gave him sweet tea (2nd time in a row btw). They also didn't give us any of the toppings we requested. We even asked AT THE WINDOW TO CONFIRM IT and they still messed up all 4 burgers. 0/10 do not recommend unless you want to waste your money.

The lady up front was very helpful and understanding despite our large order. We had gotten the free chicken on Sunday as well and they were super understanding about all of our accommodations. The overall experience was great and we will definitely be back. The food was great as well!

The cashier, Aubrey, provided very poor customer service and could definitely use more training on how to interact with customers. She rolled her eyes when I asked for condiments, and it felt like she wasn’t paying attention or possibly having issues with her headset I had to repeat myself more than five times in the drive-thru. When I got to the window, she was rude when I asked for my total since it wasn’t displayed on the board. On top of that, my order was incorrect and the food I received was cold. The drive-thru setup was also frustrating. I was in the second lane, but no one ever came out to my vehicle. I ended up having to wait until the first lane cleared completely, then back up and move over, which is not how it’s usually handled. This location is new, and I normally really enjoy coming Whatburger, but this visit was extremely disappointing.

Even with the drive-thru screen being down, she stayed positive, professional, and handled everything so smoothly. You could tell she truly cared about giving customers the best experience possible, no matter what challenges were going on. It’s 4 AM, she mentioned she’s been pulling doubles, and she still treated everyone with kindness and energy. That kind of work ethic is rare, especially in the service industry. As someone who works doubles too, I know how exhausting that can be, which made me appreciate her even more. Tiffany went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of, and because of her I’ll definitely be coming back all the time. Whataburger is lucky to have an employee like her. ( I hope I’m spelling her name right, she was so amazing and sweet!! )
