Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I said hello several times. I pulled up to the window and they looked at me like I was crazy pulling up without ordering. All I ordered was a burger. I didn’t want fries and I already have a drink. I am just sitting here. Ridiculous. The rudeness is unreal here.

Honey chicken biscuit…hard biscuit, old chicken. Fries and breakfast potatoes cold. Went to my car to eat. Order incomplete. Went in to get sauces. Came back in with biscuit a few minutes later, asked to speak w manager. Returned biscuit. She offered to remake. Wasn’t their best day, even w corporate in dining room. Manager gave me the option to come back and ask for a free combo by presenting my name and hers? I’m from Texas, I’m a fan of the brand, had good food and service here before. Today, not so much. $20 and food was old and cold. Too much competition in this market to be mid. Won’t be back to this location even with the “promise” of free food. Not the way to handle that situation at all.
