Huey’s has been bringing Blues, Brews, & Burgers in Memphis since 1970. Perhaps the most unique characteristics of our locations are the graffiti walls, hometown feel and local live music. Our World Famous Huey burgers have been voted Best Burger in Memphis since 1984. Sundays at Huey’s are traditionally known for live music, including jazz, blues and even a little rock from local and regional groups. At the example of the late Thomas Boggs, Huey’s former owner, giving back to the community is one of our top priorities. Our third visit in a row where we ordered burgers, what they are really known for, and have been disappointed. We have asked for them to be cooked medium and medium rare only to consistently receive very well done. In addition to the poor food, there was an unpleasantly peculiar smell throughout the dining area that added to our dissatisfaction.

I recommend getting the sweet potato fries as I'm not a huge steak fry fan, but you can never go wrong with any of the entrees. I don't know what they marinate their Steak on a Stick with, but whatever it is, keep doing it.

What once had a family,soulful Memphis vibe with fresh food is now nothing more than a cheap trick. Small portions,burgers aren't hot and fresh like "Jack Browns" and the fries are awful. It's clear your owners have ridden their luck in Memphis for far too long.

My sister, and another great niece decided to get something to eat so we went to this Hueys and service was terrible!!!! After being seated, my sister and I processed the room. No one of color was there. Waiting to be served, another group came in, non-color, was informed to seat themselves, and was waited on immediately!! 😡😡 Of course we got up to leave and was asked, "is everything ok?". Heck naw, we got money just like they do!!! ...and left. Lord knows I wanted to really go off but HE kept me from it!!!! Will never go to this Hueys ever again due to its prejudices!! We need to call it what it is and stop patronizing theses types of establishments!!!!!! Yeah!!!! I said it!!!!
