At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.
Everything was delicious, on time and easy to do. From ordering through the catering Manager, Holly at the Gallatin location, to the invoice and pickup it was great service. Cannot beat it. Holly helped make sure I ordered enough for the size party I had. The restaurant called to confirm what was in it. I even got to pick it up early which was good since I should have had it for an earlier time. Food was warm and delicious and they gave us so many extras! Extra sauces, pickles and things we didn't even think of.

The brisket from the brisket sandwich was tough rather than tender and had a lot of fat that was impossible to chew. The ribs were dry. Despite that, the Mac and cheese and banana pudding were amazing and the service and ambience is on point. The outdoor seating was really nice. Maybe I just got a bad batch considering the high reviews, but there’s no doubt that was some of the worst brisket I’ve had. If I go again, I’ll get a smash burger or tacos and avoid the brisket and ribs.

Food Poisoning! Beware! I have eaten at Edleys many times over the years but never at this location. I noticed the slaw didn’t taste the same but I ate it anyway. This was Saturday night. Today is Monday morning and I’m still in the bed. I’ve only eaten 8 crackers since then. I’m can only assume bad management.

After having a phenomenal experience at the Nashville location, we were excited to have one closer to home. We ate at the Gallatin location when they first opened and were horribly disappointed in the food. Primarily the brisket, which is why I go, its my favorite. The brisket was dry and burnt. Chalked it up to new place, new people, willing to try at a later time. Waited a couple of months, went back. Was slightly better, but still a fail. Was not in a hurry to go back. Yesterday I decided one more try. It was the worst brisket I have ever had. So dry and tough, my fork couldn't go through it. The pulled chicken was good, how bad can you mess up chicken? Pulled pork was average. Mac was good. Service at the ordering counter very good. However, there was a monthly manager special that came with these gouda pancake things that sounded very good. The dish was a chicken thigh though, which I dislike. I wanted to add the pancakes to my order and was told the manager would absolutely not sell them separately. They have some contest of putting together an entree of the month and it was strictly to go with that entree. So, you're obviously trying to force a sale of this meal for your contest for your numbers, however, you are turning down revenue for something people want? Bad idea. We were told a lot of people wanted those pancakes as a side and the manager refuses, and she was evidently there this afternoon and on the war path. We will not be back. 3 tries, 3 failures. We will make the drive to Nashville in the future. Wish I could recommend, but cannot.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Unfortunately, the service was very sub-par. We ordered, chose our table and sat down, within a few minutes, they brought food out and told me the ribs would out in a few minutes. I ate about half my brisket and sides and finally decided to go ask about my ribs, the girl said she would check on them, then came to the table and said it would be 5 more minutes. 5 minutes later, the dining room manager came by the table and told me it would be 5 more minutes. I told her that was the 3rd time I'd been told that, her response? Quote "well I'm in charge of them, and I'm telling you it will be 5 more minutes"! I finally got the ribs but since we were all already finished with our meals, I just asked for a go box and brought them home. They weren't even very busy.
