Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
If I could give zero stars I would. Will never be back. I never write reviews but this place is awful. Took over 30 mins to get our food and everyone who had ordered after us had their food. We literally ordered two burgers and one fry. It took us asking three times for them to finally bring it out and then the order was completely wrong.

Whatever you do, do not order curbside from this location. I’m from Texas, so I was excited to see a Whataburger being built nearby. I’ve used curbside pickup here three times now.
The first experience was great with no issues, and the food was excellent. The second time, however, I waited over 30 minutes in the curbside spot with no update. I eventually went inside and found my food sitting in a heated storage area. No one ever brought it out to me.
I decided to give them another chance, but the third experience was just as frustrating. Once again, curbside took around 20 to 30 minutes. This time they at least brought the food to my car, but when I checked the bag, they forgot the sauce I paid for, so I had to go inside to get it myself. Then, when I got home, I realized my drink was completely wrong.
The food itself is good, which is why this is so disappointing. But waiting 30 minutes for “fast food,” dealing with missing items, and getting parts of the order wrong repeatedly makes curbside service at this location hard to recommend.

EDITED - SCROLL DOWNFirst time visitor. 4*'s because it's new and might improve. Burger is big. - like fits the bun big - but there was so much mustard you couldn't taste the burger. Big onion chunks weren't my favorite. Fries were too hot to touch but soft and soggy. Maybe undercooked? I'm not over that way much but I might give them another shot. Convenience is nice but it's gotta be good too.
EDIT
My last visit wasn't fast, but fast enough that it didn't matter. Today? Holy smokes this place is S-L-O-W. It took at least 20 minutes to get my food. And the dining room was empty. Several pickup orders [on demand, Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc] came and went while me, their in-house customer waited. This empty, industrial space isn't where I wanted to spend my lunch hour. It's lunch time. FEED ME! The girl seemed concerned and did give me a cookie tho so there was a little effort. My original review was 4*'s across the board. Mostly 2's now.
That's strike 2 if your keeping score.

Horrible experience today. I was given the wrong order through the drive through. Took 30 wasted minutes to get the order right unfortunately it still wasn’t right. Heavy mustard, heavy mayonnaise, dry roll, meat that you could make a pair of shoes out of it was so over cooked plus something is wrong with the Ketchup tastes off. Also the amount of fries given would not satisfy a toddler. Along with the sloppy mess shoe burger there were no napkins. Salt off the chart too on the burger, thankfully the drink was larger to offset my thirst caused by the salty mess.

I had high hopes coming in. The place was spotless and the staff was great. The food was a big disappointment. The fries and onion rings were good but the burgers were warm (not hot) and dry. The cheese wasn't melted (don't know if the burger should melt the cheese). Both my friend and I couldn't remember the last time we had such a poor burger. Now this location just opened, so maybe they are still in a learning curve. I will try again in a few months but if what we had was the "norm" I don't know how this will survive in Franklin.
