  I don’t normally leave reviews, but I have never been treated as rudely as I was today at Charleys Philly Steaks. I placed my order at 7:20 PM and asked for my sandwich to have everything on it. The mall closes at 8:00 PM, and all of the food vendors were still open at the time. After ordering, I let one of the employees know that I was stepping away briefly to make a return and would be right back to pick up my food. He acknowledged this and nodded. When I returned about 10 minutes later, the woman working rolled her eyes at me. I asked if mayo could be put directly on the sandwich instead of receiving a packet, and the man working rolled his eyes as well and walked away. The woman then began yelling at me, saying they were closed. I mentioned the mall hours, and she yelled that their hours were different. There was no signage or indication of this, so I’m not sure how I was expected to know. She continued yelling at me for stepping away, even after I explained that I had informed another employee. She rolled her eyes repeatedly and kept escalating the situation. When I told her I didn’t appreciate being spoken to that way, she doubled down instead of de-escalating.

  The prices keep rising, which isn’t too abnormal these days, but what it really annoying is that they started charging for EVERY sauce they serve. When you’ve been coming here for the last 15 years, these little changes are very inconvenient and annoying. I’m already paying sit-down restaurant prices for a counter service restaurant and now they’re nickel and diming me. Ugh.

  if i could leave less than a one star, especially for service, i would. i ordered the bacon three cheese philly which includes the philly meat, bacon, three types of cheese, and whatever toppings i choose. as i was watching him make my cheesesteak, i realized there was no bacon, so i politely asked for the bacon to be added. the man who put the toppings on attempted to argue with me stating there was in fact bacon on it. eventually, the lady asked for it back to come and find out there was not bacon on it. the man on the grill then proceeded to throw the bacon down and ask his coworker why i didn’t say anything, when i did. the whole experience was extremely disheartening as i truly love charleys philly cheesesteaks. the service was terrible and the food wasn’t much better. i also tried to reach out via call but their phone number states it is disconnected. very sickening.
