Our server Nicole kind of soured our overall experience. I come to top golf a lot and am always highly satisfied with our bay host, but I cannot say the same for last night. Nicole wasn’t very attentive to our party which was kind of disappointing since I was celebrating graduating from college. Many of the guests I invited wanted to buy me drinks as a congrats on my accomplishment, and because we rarely saw Nicole a few of us had to go up to the bar to order drinks a few times. Nicole was upset by this and told the bar to quit serving us drinks, and when my friend and I were walking back to our bay after attempting to get another drink, we were met by Nicole saying “Do you guys have something against ordering from me?” I understand that it was a Saturday night and it was busy, and I’m sure she wasn’t thrilled getting a bay of college aged adults, but we were honestly just trying to enjoy the most out of the two hours we had reserved. We thought we were being helpful going to the bar yet we were met with hostility. Again, this is not an issue I’ve ever had before and I’m not one to complain because I LOVE having all of my parties and celebrations at top golf, but this experience was unfortunately a let down on the service end.

Upon entering, host was immediately rude and seemed like we inconvenienced her by showing up. Did not have reservations, but huge sign said walk-ins welcome. Since not having reservations, host had extremely bad attitude and said it would be a few hours wait although there were plenty of bays available. So we waited, and decided we would grab a bite to eat from the bar. Once again, was met with an extremely rude attitude from the bartender directing us that we needed to go grab a wrist band before sitting at the bar. Go to wristband station, and once was again met with the rude host from the front. Sat back down at the bar, and then was proceeded to be asked for our IDS?? What was the point of the wristband?? Finally got some drinks, and wanted to order food, but the bartender did not seem interested in providing quick service. During this, we were notified our bay was actually ready sooner so we decided to extend our time so we could eat our food that took forever. In doing this, it seemed to aggravate the host once again who continued to have an attitude. Overall, the food was decent, the server once finally reaching the bay was friendly and helpful, but the front end host and team were rude and need to work on their customer service skills and providing clear communication and direction to customers upon entering. Most likely will not return.

We are staying in Georgia and they tried to use the Tennessee curfew against us, they kicked us out because we did not have someone over the age of 21 even though we had a legal adult, and it did not say that when I registered for the bay. And we did not plan to consume alcohol, just wanted to play some golf.- Stephen

I recently visited Topgolf to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was negatively impacted by how a situation was handled by the location manager. Our group was informed that we had exceeded the allowed number of guests per bay. However, the manner in which this was addressed was abrupt and lacked professionalism. The manager approached us and stated, without courtesy or explanation, that we had too many people and that individuals needed to leave. There was no attempt to communicate a reasonable solution—such as having some guests step away from the bay area while remaining within the venue—which we later learned would have been acceptable. What made the situation more frustrating was the inconsistency in enforcement. There were multiple other groups exceeding the same limit, yet they were not addressed at that time. When I inquired about this, the manager claimed those groups had already been spoken to. Having been present and observant for approximately 45 minutes prior, I did not see any such interactions take place. When I pointed this out, the manager became defensive and stated that other managers were handling it, which did not align with what was visibly occurring. Shortly afterward, staff began approaching other groups. I also overheard the manager apologizing to another party, stating he was only addressing the issue because I had raised a concern. This response felt unprofessional, as it shifted responsibility onto a guest rather than reflecting consistent policy enforcement. Overall, the issue itself was minor and easily manageable. A calm, professional explanation along with a simple solution—such as redistributing guests between the bay and common areas—would have resolved the matter without confusion or frustration. Instead, the approach taken caused unnecessary disruption, with some members of our group leaving the facility entirely under the impression they were no longer allowed to stay. This experience was disappointing, especially given that it occurred during a birthday celebration. Strong leadership and clear, respectful communication from management would have made a significant difference.
