- GMGower MillsJul 24, 20261.0The worst seafood bar I've eaten at any Shoneys in over 40 years. There last Saturday for the Surf/Turf buffet. That service was great and food was fair. Both times in one week the hush puppies were like golf balls. Tonight for the seafood, the gumbo sucked, cooked veggies on bar sucked. The cornbread felt soggy, mash potatoes too thick. They need cooks who can cook. Paying over $23+/person was a waste and left hungry and upset stomachs. Drove nearly a hour for that food tonight that I wouldn't feed my dogs. Makayla was our server for surfturf night and was fantastic with her service, but unfortunately she was a hostess tonight.
