They throw the lettuce down, then they throw down the burgers on the lettuce, then they throw the toppings down on the patties, and then they just throw another glob of lettuce on top of that.

Yeah, Five Guys costs more than most places, but the quality is significantly better. Burgers are made to order and there numerous items that can be added (green peppers, grilled onions, jalapeños, etc), as well as condiments.

My grandsons single cheese burger was decent and 2 regular drinks, no tray to carry to our table, brown bag was the tray. These guys were not big on friendly or talking. Definitely not the good burgers from a few years ago.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
