Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KWKelly Norris West2 days ago1.0Worst experience ever at a whataburger. This is not even close to others !!! Cold food incorrectly made . Received the worst food ever. Not even eating this crap ! I usually give a star if horrible but there’s not a zero option for the worst of 2026 ! Never again !

She patiently got everyone’s custom order and then even helped them with drinks (sorry about the mess!), and made sure we had enough ketchup and napkins! It was nice feeling welcome and getting to relax for a moment. The food was also amazing and got to us quickly. The service here really is exceptional. Thank you again!!

Due to many poor reviews of this new store I am posting to say that our service at lunch today (Sept 15) was exceptional! The food was fast,the tea was great (both sweet and unsweetened) and the atmosphere was nice. We were asked multiple times if we needed anything. It may be a case of a single poor manager. The manager today was walking through the restaurant making sure everyone was taken care of. Just my 2 cents.
