  I had quite the experience today at PapaJohns in Columbia. I will say the fault is split with Door Dash. I put my order in online. Everything went well with the ordering process. About 45 minutes go by and I went to check the online tracker and all it said was "your order has been cancelled". I called the store and they stated that door dash was handling their deliveries due to not having a driver on staff today. The DD driver was "unable to find the business" so they told the store to cancel the order and they threw away (or kept) the food. "The Business" is on a main drag, has a bright yellow sign and our address is clearly printed under the sign, and is the only one in town, so you couldn't even go to the wrong one. While one the phone with the store, I was hung up on twice and had to call back. They said something was "going on with the phones". I was also told they would remake the order and redeliver as well as being told they would discount the order. We confirmed the business I work for and the address and they said they were going to collect the cash for the order upon delivery. Problem solved, right? Not even close. 45 minutes go by again and I am unable to track the order because it was placed over the phone, so I once again called the store only to be told the order was unable to be delivered because they didn't charge me enough to "justify Door Dash picking up the order" and my phone number was incorrect in their system so it was once again cancelled and they were just waiting on me to call in because apparently my phone number was incorrect in their system. They never checked the caller ID or attempted to call the business where they knew I was at due to the conversation I had with the store. But at no time did they attempt to reach out to me except for by the incorrect phone number. (I will say that I may have entered my phone number incorrectly, but in my own defense, my online account was created YEARS ago and we have never encountered this type of issue ever before) I just believe that out of pure attempt to provide better customer service, they should have at least put a little thought or effort into contacting me instead of just letting me sit and wait. I ended up having to go there myself and pickup cold, hour old pizza because my only options were to pick it up or order something completely different from somewhere different, and pizza is just the best option to feed your office . It just wasn't worth it either way. They did eventually comp the meal, but it took up around 3 total hours of my day to get a pizza. Do better.

  Large the works. I should’ve left it and walked out, but I had just finished working a long day. Will not be back!!!
