Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JYjonathon young3 days ago4.0This location wound up being where I tried Whataburger for the first time, unfortunately there was only one guy working because his help dipped set on him , yet I still got my order in a reasonable time and everything was right and hot. Franchise owners please give this man a raise, when push comes to shove he's the guy you need in that store, he's also the reason I'll now spend money at Whataburger for years to come, I didn't catch his name but it was shortly after 6 am on August 4th 2026 he was the only one there at that time

- EGEl GuapoJul 23, 20261.0Third Whataburger I've tried unsuccessfully to get food at in the last month, here and in NC. The quality of employees is dismal. It wasn't busy. I mean no one there. I just wanted a milkshake. The employee relaxing at the front counter needed to disappear when i walked up, didnt come back. I tried to order through the app, but milkshakes are showing up as an option under shakes. I go to the kiosk and order, but then find out after tracking down the employee that the kiosk won't take the gift card from the whataburger app as payment. I try to order from her but shes busy with something on her phone and tells me to wait. Three minutes later and im over it. My son bought me a $25 whataburger gift card 6 months ago and I haven't been able to use it yet, either the wait timeis 45 minutes if busy or i simply can get no one of sufficient intelligence to assist in taking an order. These expansion locations are nothing at all like the legacy Whataburgers in Texas and Florida. Hire better employees, people arent going to deal with this level of hassle for an expensive mediocre burger. The bathroom was clean.
