I'm not sure what has changed at this location of the last few months, but the food and service have gone down tremendously.
Let me preface this by saying we have always been a family of Outback lovers. Outback has always been our first choice of restaurant when we eat out. Even my 5 and 7 year old love it, but something has changed recently and I'm not sure we'll ever be back.
The last few times we've been our steaks have been overcooked and service has been slow to non existent. The last time we were in a server tried to argue with my husband about what kind of steak he had (ribeye vs new York strip). Eventually the kitchen manager came out and confirmed it was the wrong streak. It look so long to get the correct steak made, that we had to have them put it into a to-go box to take it home.
Fast forward to tonight and I've completely forgotten about our last couple of experiences because its been awhile since we've been back. We come is a party of 8 and all was fine. We sit down and immediately are told there is no Dr. Pepper. Annoying, but fine. We put in our order fairly quickly after sitting because, again, everyone in the party eats Outback regularly so we know what we want. We eat our bread and blooming onion and sit there. We sat there for about 30 minutes before our waitress informs us there is no Ceasar dressing for one of the salads. Again, annoying, but don't worry about it. We all empty our drinks and sit there with no refills. We asked for paper napkins when we first sat down, didn't get them. We had to watch for our waitress to flag her down for refills and remind her, again, that we needed napkins. Almost an hour later, I stopped her again to ask for an ETA on our food. She tells me they were plating it. Okay, cool. Her stopping to ensure us it was on the way every now and then and that we weren't forgotten about would have been cool, but whatever. We get our food and of the 4 meals on 1 ticket (my ticket) 3 were steaks and all 3 steaks were overcooked. My mom ordered mushrooms. They were ice cold. My grandma ordered a Ceasar chicken salad. It was nasty. I sent my steak back and asked them to remake it. The kitchen manager comes out instantly firey with an attitude, but she apologizes and said she's having it remade. My husband let her know the other two steaks we ordered were also incorrect, this lady then begins to tell us yes those two are overcooked, but the one that was sent back was up to their standards. Excuse me? Outback has ALWAYS cooked on the rarer side, so i order it a little less rare to compensate. How do I know this? Probably because I've been going there the last 20 years. She begins to argue with me about the temperature of my steak and talking louder and louder. I told her to take it off and we'll pay for what's on the table now and that we needed our checks because we've been waiting over an hour for our food and were ready to go. We'd be there almost 2 hours at this point. Not to mention, when the steaks were brought out we asked for 3 cups of A1. Never got them.
The checks FINALLY come, and they're wrong despite the waitress verifying how they were split when we sat down AND right before she printed them. We had to wait for two tickets to be corrected and AGAIN took forever.
Again, I don't know what has changed in this location, but to walk into a restaurant that's not busy at all and get the service we got tonight is absolutely ridiculous. By the looks of other reviews recently, it seems to be an ongoing issue.
Do better.

The food was okay, but the service completely ruined the experience.
I ordered the salmon platter with broccoli, and the menu clearly shows the salmon served on a bed of rice. However, our server told us that rice does not come with the meal and is considered a separate side. I questioned why the menu shows it that way, and instead of resolving it professionally, she doubled down.
I asked to speak with a manager. Before the manager came over, we could hear the server explaining the situation from her perspective. The manager was very polite and handled it well—she told us not to worry about the rice and that she would take care of it.
Unfortunately, the situation got worse after that. The server returned and continued to argue about the rice and why it’s considered a side. At that point, I said I wouldn’t be coming back, and she responded, “You don’t have to eat here ever again,” and walked off. That was completely unprofessional.
Later, she came back acting nicer and asked if we needed anything, but by then the experience was already ruined. We spoke with the manager again about her behavior, and she apologized, which we appreciated.
To avoid further interaction, I asked another server for a drink refill, but the same server brought it back. At that point, I didn’t feel comfortable even drinking it. We paid at the table and left.
The manager handled things well, but due to the server’s attitude and behavior, this will be our last time eating here in Clarksville. I hope others have a better experience than we did.

I’m just coming into town and my husband and I are exhausted. Abby was able to assist us with the ultimate ordering out experience. We came into some issues with the tablets not being able work properly processing the payment but Janice jump into action helped with my logging back into my prior account with Outback and assisted Abby with the closure. Where we derive, assistance is little to nonexistent especially in the food industry. Not only were they able to provide the essentials while being quick, swift and efficient. We are in town visiting an Aunt and will definitely be back for the full experience. I highly recommend!!!!

We had a party of 8 on Mother’s Day and chose this restaurant because it had the shortest wait time at 30 minutes so we got on the call ahead sitting list. We ended up waiting about an hour to be seated. We ordered the kids’ meals first since they were hungry and getting restless, then placed the adults’ orders shortly after.
Over 30 minutes later, the kids’ food finally arrived. The plates were extremely hot, but the food itself was cold. The kids were hungry and didn’t want to wait for remakes, so we let it go. However, after an hour and 20 minutes, the adults still had not received any food. At that point, the kids had already finished eating and were more than ready to leave.
I spoke with the manager, who apologized and went to check on our order. About 10 minutes later, the food finally came out cold, and to make matters worse, my husband found a hair in his food. The waiter who brought it out, pulled the hair out and then had the nerve to ask my husband if he wanted his food back. We ended up not eating at all. The manager did remove everything from the bill, which we appreciated, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER will we be back.

Worst dining experience I have ever had. We were seated almost immediately, placed drink orders within ten minutes, had drinks in about 20 (3/4 of us had water), and then ordered four steaks, an appetizer and salads as sides. We got bread once for four people and weren’t offered any after it was gone while we waited for our food for an hour and a half. The waitress never checked on us to update us where on earth our food was, when we finally asked after an hour she said, “the kitchen is struggling.” We got two filets and two ribeyes, all four looked exactly the same. I even asked and she assured me they were. We ordered medium well, they were brown. Tasted like hamburger. They did comp us the two ribeyes and the appetizer, which was nice. Fries were so over seasoned it made me cough. Two stars for the atmosphere because we were able to watch the Braves beat the Phillies.
