The food here is fine. It’s not Atlanta or Los Angeles level, but nothing near Chattanooga is. The biggest problem was quantity: I agree with a recent reviewer that the amount of food you get for the price is less than expected. I shared the butchers feast (4 meats & 8 sides) with 2 other smaller-than-average sized people and was still hungry when I left. The amount of rice that comes with the meal is small; they use the shallow rice bowls that have a half inch thick bottom so what appears to be a normal sized bowl is deceiving. The other Korean restaurant on the opposite side of town has better food (the seasoning on the Kalbi is more authentic there) and is a much better value, though you do not get the overall ambiance or the grill at the table. Service was good and friendly.

Really enjoyed dinner at Zaya Korean Steakhouse. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean, and the Korean BBQ experience was fun without feeling rushed. Definitely a spot worth trying if you’re looking for something different in the area.

My girlfriend and I came in for drinks and jalapeño poppers and ended up leaving convinced Connor might be the greatest server to ever touch the restaurant industry. This man was operating at an elite level from start to finish—charismatic, hilarious, insanely attentive, and somehow always appeared at the exact perfect moment like he had server telepathy. Our drinks never even had a chance to get low before he was already there, and the jalapeño poppers came out fast and tasted even better because Connor delivered them with the confidence of a Michelin star chef. At one point I’m pretty sure the entire restaurant’s atmosphere improved just because Connor was on shift. If he told me to invest in a business idea, I’d probably do it. A man with this level of confidence deserves his own holiday. Thank you for the amazing.

I took my mother, mother-in law and aunt here for an early Mother’s Day. The food was great, service was great but when we went to go pay our check, 1 of our 6 gift cards(from Costco iykyk) was lost in process of payment. The waiter looked a couple of times and failed to find it, I checked under the table and all of my pockets no avail. I paid and went and removed my glove box in my car and still couldn’t find it. I sadly had to go speak to a manager and showed him my Costco receipt where I paid literally an hour before dinner and placed the gift cards directly in my glove box after purchase. The manager reviewed and came back after 5 mins and said he found the card in the trash still in the envelope. He was nice enough to give it back still covered in whatever from trash with a minor apology. This was supposed to be a Mother’s Day dinner and it fell short because of this awkward event. This was a my fifth time there, the food is always amazing but after this experience it left a horrible taste in my mouth. I understand mistakes happen but there was sadly too many coincidences with this dinner. I can’t say I will return to this restaurant again.

Tasteless... The food here is completely flavorless. The meats have no taste at all-they're not properly seasoned, with no salt or pepper, just a little bit of salt added after they're already cooked. This restaurant is all about the armosphere and the service, not the food. The quality of the food is nowhere near the best. I've been to other restaurants with a similar concept or cuisine that deliver much better flavor, even with less service and a simpler atmosphere-and at a better price.
